Each room has an open-air bath, but it's a wilder one than you might imagine. There was a separate room with a sunken kotatsu (a sunken kotatsu) type room even if you laid out a futon, so even four people could relax. The dinner was also very delicious and the staff's customer service was very good. What bothered me was that there were no slippers in the toilet in the room.

Slightly north of the center of Yufuin. It is probably an old inn, an old private house, or a renovated barn. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It is built like an old Japanese inn, but the tatami mats are not as old as the building, but they are not as modern either, giving it a retro Showa feel. The toilet was made by Matsushita Electric Works. However, the cleaning is thorough and the place is clean overall. As I will explain later, there are a lot of foreign staff, but I thought that they were well-trained and that some of them were very serious. For some reason, the washbasin was on the balcony during Kasuga, and judging from the interior and the angle of the roof, we assumed it was a former storeroom. There are two pros here.Since it's Yufuin, it's a hot spring. Large communal bath (with open-air bath) and room bath (with open-air bath). The public bath is outside the entrance. It's close so no problem. If it's raining, your feet might not be good. The indoor bath is nice and hot. The open air is surrounded by a fence and roof, so it doesn't have a feeling of openness and is lukewarm.Depending on the room, you can also see Mt. Yufu from the room bath. It's piping hot.I'm a little skeptical about the hot springs flowing directly from the source (maybe it's a little higher in altitude than the source area? It's not mentioned on the website, but it's mentioned on travel sites and blogs), but I feel like it's a real hot spring because my skin feels better after a long bath. Ta. No sulfur smell. I went out after washing my body.Another good thing is rice.Recommended.Although the number of items is overwhelming, you can eat all of Oita (there is no Hita yakisoba or fried chicken, but junkies should leave it elsewhere). All delicious. The charcoal-grilled local beef, chicken, and sweetfish are all delicious. It also comes with beef stew. I will post the menu. Autumn menu. You can bring food and other items at your request. Many of the staff are foreign and speak English. I had a good impression of him because he was working hard on his Japanese and was considerate. Female staff. One of the Japanese-looking male staff members gave sloppy answers. If you are strict about the service, you may be disappointed. After I left, I asked about a parking space for my car, and they said, ``Anywhere is fine.'' Where is the parking lot for your home?Overall I have a good impression. It seems that there are many foreign customers,It might be perfect for bringing women who don't like public baths. At the end of September, there are few insects and the outdoors are comfortable.

It's a great place to experience hot springs and Japanese diningIt's nice that each room has a private bath and you can use the public bath.Kaiseki seems to be slightly different depending on the season, and it's great for trying out kimonos and hot springs. It's in a secluded place, so it's nice to have a quiet and leisurely time. On the other hand, the downside is that there's no place to go once you get into the accommodation. It was good though.
