The splendid building of the former national residence is a landmark of Yufuin. You can take a day trip bath in the afternoon to soothe your tired body from climbing Mt. Yufu in the hot spring.

I was prepared because I had read the reviews that the facility was old, but when I actually visited, I found that the rooms and bathrooms were well-cleaned and had no problems at all.It was a great deal for us to order rice, but there was enough food for us and it was very delicious.Fried shrimp and omelettes that were easy for children to eat were also prepared, and I felt a sense of hospitality.I want to go again.

It was the worst trip ever.I didn't want to leave any rice behind, so I tried my best to eat it, but there was only cold food, and I didn't eat anything that I thought was delicious.I had made a birthday plan, but I was surprised when they just brought me a cake in a box and asked me to eat it in my room without any explanation. Also, when I made the reservation, I received an email asking about the letters on the cake plate, and even though I immediately replied to the reply address listed, there was no reply or reflection, and I didn't know what the reply address was for, which made me feel uncomfortable. It was.If you can't use the open-air bath, shouldn't you contact us in advance? I went there for my grandmother's birthday so I didn't want to spoil the atmosphere so I returned home, but I felt really bad and I still can't control my anger. I don't want to use it again and my memories of Yufuin are ruined. Thank you very much for your unpleasant experience.

I was prepared for the hotel to be old. However, there were spider webs in the room. Many places in the hotel don't have electricity, and it's dark and scary. Even if you go to the restaurant on time to eat, you will find cold gratin and chawanmushi on display, so I don't think the minimum level of food is being prepared. The lights in the bathroom were dark, and the waterfall bath was so dark that I felt scared to approach it. Also, the lights weren't on when I left the bathroom to take a break, so it was dark. The hallway was also dimly lit and not at the level of energy saving. Although it may be a wonderful facility, I feel it is a waste.

The rooms looked old, but the food was good. It was neat and tasted good. Well... I think it's perfect for a mid-priced ryokan. However, if you come expecting something like a luxury ryokan, you may be disappointed. The location was so quiet that it had a nice view. The hot spring is also spacious.

When an earthquake warning was issued, I had to cancel my 4-night, 5-day trip that I was looking forward to.Other transportation and accommodations did not charge a cancellation fee under these circumstances, but this accommodation had a 20% cancellation fee because it was less than a week away. Of course, it costs money, so I think it's difficult, but I wish they could at least give me some flexibility, such as half the cancellation fee. There was no problem and I received a phone call that said that I would of course receive a cancellation fee (it had been a day since the warning, but I was wondering if you were watching the news). I was lonely. It's really a shame because I really wanted to go.Rather than just thinking about money, I would have liked to see a little more consideration for my feelings.I changed my mind and decided to donate.

I stayed here with my wife while sightseeing. The price was also quite reasonable. It has an old feel to it, which is typical of a long-established store, but when I read the reviews, I found it to be ``certain'', but it was well-cleaned, and the baths were much better than I expected from the outside appearance. There are 3 indoor baths, 1 outdoor bath, and a sauna. It was very spacious. The ladies in charge of the meals are also very kind, and I think the food is reasonably priced. For me, it had such an atmosphere, and the scenery and the plateau spreading out in front of Mt. Yufu were nice, and I thought it might be worth paying a little more for the price. There weren't many guests that day, but I still felt that the staff were working hard to keep things running with a small number of people. I haven't stayed in Yufuin much, so I mainly stayed in Beppu, but I thought it would be nice to stay in a place like this sometimes (^_^)
