The location couldn't be more beautiful. You are between the rice fields without neighbours and to sekumpul it's walkable which is so perfect. Staying here the night before you visit sekumpul is the best way to see it. You can go early in the morning without other people and it's just magical. They even bring you dinner on request. And the host is just the friendliest person ever. Every tourist should experience this. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

A large wooden cabin, in the middle of rice fields, greenery and palm trees as far as the eye can see... a serene space... well you don't have to be afraid of small animals (which was my case so I didn't spend time there just one night 😅)Like the previous reviews I confirm that the road to get there is not easy, and that you have to finish on foot or by scooter, but Eri or someone close to her will help you.Eri, Asri and Yoga provided perfect help for me who was alone, if you like solitude and really need to get away from the city, go there with your eyes closed ☺️

There are two wooden houses right next to the rice fields. The one I live in is very simply furnished. It has no air conditioning or fan, but it is not too hot. You need to cover yourself with a quilt when sleeping at night. There are houses only far away in the surrounding area, making it a good place to watch the stars at night. Motorcycles can be parked at the door of the wooden house. The road to ride there is very narrow, which is a bit challenging. The host was very nice and helped us arrange a tour guide for a one-day trip to the waterfall. I was very satisfied with the price and service. It is a 10-minute walk from the water slides and terraces, and there is a path to the waterfall scenic area, which is very convenient, and there is no problem if you don't use a motorcycle. The local people in the surrounding area are also very familiar with this Homestay, and it is easy to ask for directions if it is your first time. There are also several Warung restaurants within a 10-minute walk, and the scenery is pleasant, overlooking the northernmost coast of Bali.

Eri and Ayu are the best. Eri arranged our transport to and from the homestay and gave us a tour on the way and explained all about Balinese traditions so that time flew by. The homestay is beautiful, don't expect a five star hotel because this is not what it is about. The location is simply perfect, there are a number of lovely warungs in walking distance and of course sekumpul and fiji waterfalls, the waterslide and the 7m jump. Eri's staff Ayu served us a lovely breakfast every day and was always ready to help. We stayed with our two teenage kids and even they were flashed by our stay in the middle of nowhere. Free wifi for the evening might have helped... All in all a unique experience and definitely a totally different side of Bali compared to the southern part of the island.

Hospitable owner and good staff. It’s quiet at night, if you turn off the lights everywhere you can watch the stars! There are a lot of fireflies in the stream nearby! The owner offers an inexpensive guide to 4 points: rice terraces, a water slide and two waterfalls. The guide is excellent and a good person! It is possible to order dinner and drinks, including beer, from the owner! You can drive up to the house by bike, but it’s impossible by car and you’ll have to walk from the parking lot - it’s not an easy path, but it’s fast. We can help you bring your things by bike!Of the minuses: in the morning dogs and roosters start crowing, then bikes start driving.Despite the disadvantages, we spent two nights in this secluded and beautiful place! Thanks to the owner, staff and guide!

Very simple clean accommodation. But it’s ALL about the location, the serenity and peace of this place. Walking distance to Sekumpul waterfalls. The hosts are so sweet. Such a beautiful happy little family. Breakfast included, and they even brought my wife a Tylenol when she had a bad headache. They will bring you dinner if you ask them. You can hear the river from here. Absolutely tranquil. Had such great sleep here. Thank you 🙏🏽

The accommodation is very simple. For example, there is no safe and no air conditioning. In addition, getting there is quite inconvenient as the accommodation is on a road that is only accessible to motorcycles. However, if necessary, luggage transport will be organized. Nonetheless, I would choose Uma over any 5 star resort. Eri and his employees feel like they are there for you 24/7 and will help you in all matters.Although many tourists are led to the waterfalls by the guides, I would recommend the accommodation to anyone who wants to experience Bali away from mass tourism. The surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful. The accommodation is located in the middle of the rice fields and you immerse yourself in a village community that retains its originality. Being within walking distance of Sekumpul and Fiji Falls, we were able to enjoy these attractions to ourselves early in the morning. You can get good supplies in the surrounding warungs and shops. Breakfast is also available on site. If you want, the homestay staff would even organize dinner. You should plan a cash buffer as there are no ATMs in town.In summary, an absolute recommendation. Many thanks to Eri and his colleague.

“Super idyllic and quiet”We stayed there one night. We received a warm welcome and were shown the adventurous route to the accommodation. After we were shown the room and bathroom, we asked our questions and they were answered very well. A meal was also cooked for us since we had arrived late. In the morning you could enjoy the sunrise in the middle of nature surrounded by palm trees and rice fields. In the evening there was a celebration in the village on the other side where very loud music was played until 10 p.m. That disturbed the idyll a bit. The proximity to the Sekumpul waterfall is unique here. Because you could just walk there and you save the guide costs for the waterfall because you sleep there. We can only warmly recommend the accommodation. And you can hardly believe it but there is no problem with hot water there.
