I visited in early September and it was hot, but the ryokan was really the best ㅜㅜ❤️❤️ It's such a waste that I only stayed there for one day... If you don't feel comfortable using the public bath, I highly recommend a private ryokan.I made a reservation through the Kite app and booked a traditional room open air booth type! It was a twin bed room on the duplex with tatami mats. Room allocation seemed to be assigned randomly. On the app, it looked like all rooms were on the first floor, but there was a twin bed on the duplex.I ate both dinner and breakfast, and I was very satisfied. The kaiseki was really great. Be sure to order and eat breakfast as well. It felt like home-cooked Japanese food, and the rice was really fluffy and delicious! On the day I went, there was a staff member who could speak some Korean. 😊 Based on the reviews, it didn't seem like they were always there.Since I visited in September, when the hot season was still remaining, I went with some understanding that there would be bugs. There was a Japanese version of F Killa in the room, so I sprayed it all in between the cracks in the door haha... I saw Mr. Bar... but I was worried because I couldn't catch him. I did it, but...hahaThe review said that you have to walk quite a bit to get to the convenience store, so I bought water and snacks in advance. If you are using it without renting, be sure to buy something before going in. It took a lot longer to get inside than I thought🥹🥹 I was very satisfied with the accommodation...!!!! Next time I visit Hita, I definitely want to visit again. Everyone was so kind and nice.

If you have reserved Kotohira Guesthouse, you must stop by here first to check in. From what looks like a counter at the entrance, you have to go 50 meters further to find the actual reception. He explains kindly. On the way to the reception, I saw a small snake in the yard. Be careful

Full marks. An overnight stay given to me by my daughter for her birthday. Everything I ate was delicious, the water was good, and I liked the nostalgic feel of the old folk house. Even though it was old, I didn't think it was filthy and I thought it would take a lot of work, but I felt completely at home.I visited with my daughter, and the food was so delicious that I was sorry to have to leave it behind but thank you for your hard work. The price does not have to change, so I would be very happy if you could set a course that does not involve food waste.Lately, foreign hotels have often been disappointing, and I often think about cost performance, but for the first time in a while I was able to find an inn that I was satisfied with. thank you.I would also like to thank the chefs and the purchasers for their hard work, as both parents and children have many food allergies. In most cases, you will be asked to replace the allergen with something else, but the level of satisfaction will be lower than with a regular full course. However, this dish did not make me feel that way at all, and I was able to enjoy the feast with peace of mind.Thank you very much for your consideration during your busy time.

This is a 100-plus-year-old building built by a village headman, and you can spend time relaxing in the tranquil atmosphere of Kotohira Onsen, which is filled with the good old Japanese atmosphere, warm hospitality, and the blessings of nature. It is a time to refresh your mind and body while enjoying the beautiful scenery of each season. The hot spring water has a comfortable temperature and a smooth texture. Heal your tired body from the core. The hot springs are gentle on the skin and will leave your skin feeling moisturized after bathing.

Wow! What a fantastic experience. Lovely (huge) room/villa, amazing food, excellent value. The staff were lovely, very helpful and kind in explaining what we were doing and most importantly what we were eating! We booked an all inclusive package and it was literally all inclusive - food, drinks, snacks. Good location, fairly easy to find. Massage chair in the room - amazing! Thank you!
