The people at the hotel are very kind and enthusiastic. When I first arrived in Beppu, I found that my backpack was forgotten on the bus. I was very nervous. The people at the hotel also helped contact the bus company. By coincidence, the luggage was broken and the people at the hotel helped to deal with it. Old, thank you very much! I happened to find it on a budget guesthouse website and booked a female-only dormitory on Agoda for 2,500 yen.In conclusion, it was very good! The owner was also very friendly and warmly greeted me with a ``welcome home'' when I returned home. The common spaces such as the kitchen and sofa were also stylish.The room had three spacious bunk beds, and also had a bath and toilet.I made some foreign acquaintances and had a great time.

Enough for a normal stayIf you are looking for service, look for a place that is reasonably priced.Parking lot is smallYou can't use the bathtub, but you can use the shower, and you can get a free ticket to the local public bath, so I think going on an adventure will be an interesting experience.Free Wi-Fi available

Stayed 4 nights in a 6 person dorm.First of all, it was convenient because there was a Don Quixote and a public parking lot within a 5-minute walk. The bedding was also comfortable.There is a refrigerator, air conditioner and locker in the room to store valuables.There is a shower, sink, and toilet in the room, but since they are separate spaces, three people can use them at the same time. The sink has tissues and a dryer.One large and small towel is provided free of charge each day, and a toothbrush set with toothpaste is also provided. There are also 4 parking spaces available, so they are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. I was able to park for 2 nights during my 4 night stay. Wi-Fi is provided and the speed is said to be good.The staff was very friendly and helpful. Free coffee or tea and refrigerator and cooking utensils are available in the common area on the first floor. You can sit and use your laptop or eat, and there is also a classical guitar. I think they also rent umbrellas.Due to the nature of the dormitory, the experience may vary depending on the people staying with you, but I think everyone except Haru was good. I highly recommend this place.

There isn't even a napkin there.

The location of the youth hostel is about 10 minutes' walk from the JR station. The transportation is convenient. The room is much larger than we expected. This is the first time I stayed in a hotel in Japan. It provides a medium-sized refrigerator. The public spaces, restaurants and halls are large and comfortable, and they are also neat and clean. The staff at the counter They are all very nice and happy to help us. The hostel also provides free hot spring rolls, and you can also borrow washbasins and bathroom supplies. Beppu Youth Hostel is the number one recommendation. You can consider staying here for a long time.

First time for in a "youth hostel like"place, so I didn't know what to expect but I had a great time here. I was in a six people dorm.The people who work here are lovely, like to chat with you (they all speak english I think). The common space is spacious, with a little kitchen, a fridge and tables. You can use coffee and tea for free. I liked to sit there in the end of the afternoon.There is lockers in the rooms for valuable things, and you can rent towels for free.The little weak point was that it smelled a bit bad in the toilet, seemingly because of moisture but nothing is visible about that. Also, there is only one shower in the room, I thought it would be a problem but Beppu has many Onsen s so you can still wash yourself there.The beautiful part of the city is a bit far, like 1h30 by walk. There are buses but I didn't try it. But it is very very close to the train station so it is convenient if you have luggage.

Thank you for your help on my bike trip. You have to walk a bit, but there is a shopping street in front of the station and Beppu Tower nearby! I enjoyed soaking in the public bath and buying half-price bento boxes at the department store! It seems like they lower the accommodation rates during the off-season! I think it would be better to stay for a certain amount of consecutive nights.

I stayed in a dormitory. The bathroom and shower were in the room, so it was comfortable and clean. It was a little dry due to the air conditioner heater, but it wasn't cold when I slept. This time, I used a first-floor bed, but the second-floor bed was also stairs rather than a ladder, so it looked comfortable, and it had individual curtains, lights, and hangers, so I was able to stay comfortably at an affordable price. Towels are provided and tickets to a nearby hot spring are also provided. Above all, he was kind and it was nice to be able to make friends in the same room.

I stayed here from 19 till 21st January, the staff is immensely kind and helpfull. The common room and kitchen feels like being at home. I really liked running into fellow travelers and talking to them. The staff really helped me practice my Japanese and were patient with my beginner level. And if you are lucky you will meet the cute little boss of the hotel, a cute little shiba dog🤩🥰I stayed here from January 19th to 21st. The staff are very kind and helpful. The common room and kitchen feel like home. I really loved meeting and talking to other travelers. The staff really helped me practice my Japanese and were patient with my beginner level. If you're lucky, you'll also meet the hotel's cute boss, a cute little Shiba Inu 🤩🥰 (Sorry for any minor mistakes, I'm not that good yet so I asked Google for help)

The communal kitchen is easy to use and fully stocked with drip coffee service and plenty of tableware. There is an elevator, which is nice for travelers with heavy luggage. Another great service is that you are provided with a washbasin, shampoo, and a ticket to use the public bath, which is a 1-minute walk away.However, the environment of the private room was completely different from the photo on the reservation site where the outside of the window was the wall of the building next door, so it was a sad three-night stay. The smell of mold wafts from the bathroom to the outside, and since you can't see the sky, it's dark even during the day, and the only TV that shows properly is NHK. As for the response from the woman at the front desk...
