Since it was a weekday, the bath was empty and I enjoyed it relaxingly. There was so much food that I wondered if I could even eat it. It was delicious. I would like to use it again.

2024/6/29-30 stayI visited Asama Onsen to participate in the annual bicycle race.I stayed at Jimotoya several years ago, but this time it was my first time in a while.Although there was no signboard cat to greet us, we were soothed by the warm hospitality of the proprietress and waitress.Although the facility feels a little old, it was clean and I had a wonderful and relaxing time with the view of the Northern Alps mountains from my room window. The bath was spacious and the open-air bath was beautiful, so I was able to soothe my tired body. However, the shower was not a thermostatic or water-stop type, but rather a 2-handle mixer faucet, which I haven't had in a long time, which took some time, so I would appreciate it if things could be improved little by little. The food was filled with very delicious meat and sashimi, but there was a lot for women, so my wife was sorry that she left some.I don't get to eat much for breakfast before the race, so if you could just give me some salt musubi and miso soup, I think we could reduce food waste, so I'd appreciate it if you could consider that.I would like to thank you for your consideration in various ways, such as providing a place to store my bicycle and taking a bath after the race, and for allowing me to finish the race safely. It was an inn that I would like to stay at if I were to participate in the race again next year.

It's a traditional Japanese hot spring inn. I really enjoyed the nostalgic feel of the Showa era. The food is also very good.
