The river rooms are wonderful! Left the windows open for the cold sweet air and the sound of the river running below. Watched Snow Monkeys crossing the suspension bridge.

The quality of the spring water is unique. I think this is a great inn for those who like hot springs. There are a total of 5 hot springs: an indoor bath, a private indoor bath, an open-air bath with a roof, and 2 open-air baths without a roof.Except for the indoor bath, all of the baths were reserved for private use and no reservations were required, so we were able to enjoy the hot springs in a relaxed manner.I think it's a real luxury to have hot water flowing directly from the source without heating or adding water at this amount and temperature. The source of Shirahone Onsen seems to differ depending on the inn, and it was a genuine hot spring that could only be accessed at Yukawaso. The hot water has a slight sulfur smell, but is milky white and warms your body. The ingredients are strong, so we recommend hydrating plenty of water after taking a bath. There is no attendant to take you to your room, but at check-in you will receive a detailed verbal explanation of the facility and then head to your room.Although it is in the mountains, there are no insects and every corner is thoroughly cleaned. There was already a futon laid out in the room, but I was satisfied after taking a bath. The quality of the spring water is really good, so after taking a bath, you'll want to lie down on a futon and relax. The meal started with small dishes, hot spring hotpot made with hot spring water, miso, and milk, trout sashimi, soba mackerel, and trout tempura, all of which were served with local sake and delicious local ingredients.Breakfast was all healthy and delicious, including hot spring porridge, homemade pickles, mushrooms, grilled trout, and hot spring eggs. The spring water coffee I received when I checked out was also soft and delicious.Everyone at the hotel was kind and I was able to spend a luxurious time soaking in the hot springs without any inconvenience. We have repeat customers who come every month, and I'm envious of those who live nearby.I would love to hear from you again.

I stayed there after hiking in Kamikochi at the end of summer. There are dark tunnels and narrow roads on the way to the inn.The woman at the reception desk explained the accommodation, food, and hot springs in great detail and in an easy-to-understand manner, and I thought it was wonderful because she was heartfelt and not bureaucratic.Check-in to your room is self-service.When you enter the room, the futon is already spread out.You can see the suspension bridge and river from the inn, and the greenery is beautiful and unforgettable. The rooms are well maintained. We provided toothbrushes, but it's a good idea to bring your own cotton pads and cotton swabs. The hot springs have a private open-air bath and a large public bath, and we were able to bathe in them all in two days and one night. My favorites were the private ``Hoo'' and the large public bath. There are two bathtubs in the large public bath, one of which is lukewarm.I suffer from migraines and always get headaches in the evening, but I was surprised to find that the headaches went away after I took a bath. My skin became smooth and I realized just how amazing Shirahone Onsen is.The next morning, I went to the hot spring early, and the hot water felt very nice, partly because the temperature was cool. What impressed me most about the food was how delicious the white rice was. Cooking in a hot spring gives it a special taste. It's completely different from cooking with regular water. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to finish the hot pot full of vegetables, but I finished it without any trouble. Each and every item, including small bowls, has a delicate flavor and is delicious.Buckwheat flour with sauce? I also like steamed buns. The rice porridge I ate the next morning was also very delicious.Even though it was morning, I had to refill the rice in the bowl several times. After breakfast, I dozed off and wanted to relax until around noon. This is a ryokan that you will want to come back to and that you will want to stay at regularly.Thank you for your heartfelt customer service and food.I would like to visit again in the spring or when it snows.

Everything about the free-flowing hot springs (there are 4 for private use, and you can use them as much as you like at any time), the food, and the staff's service is great. It's a hot spring, but it was the best hot spring I've ever been to.It's not a destructive hot spring like Kusatsu,It is not a strong sulfur power like Norikura,But it's not just a hydrogen sulfide spring...It's a hot spring that will surely envelop your body and mind, as if you were wrapped in a futon, and will help you recover. You can experience the same phenomenon when you go to an inn in the game to recover your physical strength. Moreover, the bathtub is amazing. The hot spring ingredients have crystallized, making it look like a work of art.The source of Shirahone Onsen differs depending on the inn, so you will need to stay here to enjoy this highly accommodating hot spring. It's also great that you can reserve the hot spring for as long as you like! The hot springs are beyond description, so please come and stay overnight. For dinner, a hot pot made with hot spring water, miso, and milk will be served.Until now, I have no good memories of the hotpot and shabu-shabu I've had at ryokan inns due to the large portions, but Yukawaso was different...!Let me tell you the results first...I ate every drop of the sauce from the pot! !You can also drink the hot spring water itself, which is the mildest and most delicious drink I've ever had.If you make this into a hot pot, it will be absolutely delicious! Super exquisite item.It was a hot pot that seemed to heal your body from within.Breakfast is hot spring gayu. This is also good. What's more, they also serve regular white rice, so you can feel that they are considerate of people who don't like porridge.Of course, the other menus for breakfast and dinner were also delicious, and I forgot to take pictures! The books, materials, and decorations in the hallway of the inn, the table tennis table you could play on, the suspension bridge to get to the inn...it was the best hot spring inn in every detail, including the small details.I want to visit every month.I'll visit you again.2024/8/6

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and enjoyed their attentive service. For example, I don't eat beef and they prepared extra pork and chicken for me. When we had breakfast the next day, she thought that we needed to change our bathrobes. So she asked very politely, and with our consent, she entered the room and changed us. Because it suddenly rained the next afternoon, we returned to the hotel later. She was waiting for us in front of the hotel door with an umbrella and I brought an extra umbrella to protect us from the rain when we got off the bus... Everyone was very dedicated to taking care of our needs, and even though their English was not very good, they all tried to communicate with us. We really feel the excellent charm of Japanese people.

If you want to heal in hot springs, we recommend this inn.I came alone, and the cloudy white water without heating was overflowing with water, and it was drinkable. In addition to soothing the stomach and intestines, some regular users have reported that their back pain has improved in the past, making it the type of herbal medicine that you can truly immerse yourself in.The meals were a variety of creative dishes that were good for the body, combining locally sourced ingredients and hot springs, and I could feel the pride and confidence of the people at the inn from the way they spoke. This is a great place to visit if you want to relax your body in a hot spring.Attention ⚠️ Due to snowfall, three cars slipped and were stranded on the road from Matsumoto Station to Shirahone Onsen. Be sure to come by four-wheel drive from winter to early spring.

There was no TV, so I was able to spend a wonderful time gazing at the deep snow, forgetting about work, and having a great time. I feel like I have added one more place that I don't want to tell people about. Thank you very much to all the staff for your help. Also, we will visit you in different seasons.
