Watch Bali surf school's video. We doubt that's not possible as other photos and reviews look ok. But that video was REAL! Most of accommodations are like this. Homestay is 1star. They don't have what you are looking for. Bugs every where, minimum plumbing (no drain hole, water goes to the ground) no roof (that's not for sky and stars, no exhaust fan.. can't handle the humidity) no shower head (not for industrial design, also black water pouring out). We booked 3rooms, but 2rooms A/C doesn't work 😱We arrived around 11pm, no choice to move. Only way was to stay in here. However we escaped and knocked the closed several hotels at Middle of night.We paid more to the driver came with us and a night exploring this area around midnight was the worst part of my travel Bali!!! Only choice was paying hundreds for a night and find one next day. Don't think to book another online at 12pm. No response. Don't trust 24hr counter. They closed. This means you can't check in at midnight and no refund available! My driver was so kind and he helped us his best. We've visited several places. Then finally paid millions for the night to survive at 2am.Homestay is common in this area. Definitely budget friendly. It's not cheap price for this condition. All others are too expensive. You may not have choice. I advise you to spend more and save at other areas.We are 4 not picky at all and common divers just needed A night for tomorrow. This was the worst condition I've ever seen. Also the hardest night to find a bed 🛌 😴Don't trust Google review stars in this area. It can be 4stars as all other accommodations are like this and this room can be little better than neighbours. That's it, not real 4star!!밤11시 도착해서 피곤에 쩔은몸이라 정말 아무데나 침대만 있으면 자겠다 했는데, 이건아니네요. 이동네가 대부분 저렴한 홈스테이숙소들이 많은데... 구글평점 무시하셔요. 돈더내셔요. 본인 생각한 버짓에 맥시멈으로 숙소고르셔요. 그게 현명합니다. 리뷰기준이 달라요. 이동네기준으로 4star, 실제로0.5star나 1star입니다.

We had a great stay at Made Taro, warm welcome around a little homemade juice, the room in the little cabin was incredibly pretty. We were welcomed like princes, with great care.The meals were also very well cooked, we enjoyed ourselves 😋We were able to rent a scooter directly there🛵 which was very practical to go for a little ride instead for the sunset at the end of the dayAlso, we had our laundry washed and it was fresh the next morning!We took the snorkeling excursion to Menjangan with the hotel, we were motorized to the departure point at the exit, then boat trip around the island, 2 snorkeling sessions on different spots, a lunch break with the meal provided (very good too) on the island, where deer came to visit us.This boat and dive trip was incredible!!!!Also, the hotel also offers taxi services and accompanied us to our next stop in Munduk!Very good atmosphere, good welcome, kind and warm people, caringThanks againWe recommend with your eyes closed

Made Taro homestay is an excellent budget friendly place. We are a family of 4 with teenage kids. Spacious, clean, & well maintained rooms, cold ac & hot water, free wi-fi. We didn't purchase the breakfast option so can't comment on food. The staff are friendly and super accommodating. We arrived at 11 pm and someone was waiting for us. Mr. Made is such a kind man and he strived hard to meet our needs. He owns the Menjangan activity centre where we purchased the snorkeling package. His prices are competitive but such excellent quality. I would come again.

A very pleasant evening and night, the host was adorable, very professional, he knows how to entertain very well! Very clean and pretty room. The food was very good, although it would be nice to have a sweet option for breakfast but nothing major.In addition, we had a water problem, we were changed rooms directly without any problems. No hot water in the second bedroom either, a bit of a shame.Very beautiful outdoor bathroom.The people were very welcoming and endearing.Go for it with your eyes closed if you're in the area, especially given the price!

The most worth it accommodation for budget travelers.Cold AC, clean shower water abundant, room quite spacious & comfortable.The atmosphere is calm, beautiful. Good for resting.Owner & staff friendly & helpful.Highly recommended.

We stayed in this guesthouse for 2 nights and loved it. The family run service was splendid. Everyone is helpful and kind. The rooms are very nice and clean. I also really liked the private outdoor bathroom. We then took an excursion to Menjangan via GuestHouse and it was a fantastic experience. Just one piece of advice for the owner, I love Balinese pancakes, put them on the breakfast menu because they are too good!

Family establishment away from the main road so a little isolated but very quiet and 10 minutes walk from the pier for Menjangan (we will even offer to take you there by scooter for free). Clean room that smells great. Impeccable shower and toilets. Terrace with table and chairs. Air conditioning, fan and mosquito net appreciated.Very good value for money. I recommend !

Recommended!! The staff is very friendly, any problems are immediately handled, even though the room lights can't be turned on but there is still a night light so it's still nice to sleep without being too bright. The room smells really good, clean. The atmosphere is very calm because there is no noise whatsoever. Very close to the pier to cross to Menjangan Island for diving or snorkeling...
