Very pleasant apartment, city center, close to train station, konbinis, shops and shopping centers. toiletries and hygiene products provided, towels, household linen such as sheets, pillowcases, throws, feather duvets, slippers.

Pros: Spacious space, close to Petpu StationNice to have a hot spring nearby.Disadvantage: 1 The window cannot be opened, so there is no ventilation.It has a musty smell.A small exhaust fan is the only ventilation.Performance is not good.2. Cleaning of bedding and other furniture is neat.I don't. Even cockroaches are mecoming.3. The stairs are very steep, Joe.It has to be severe.4. It’s noisy because it’s evening in a commercial area.Of course, thanks to the host's consideration, earplugs are provided in abundance.5. Very good value for money!Ample space inside. Very close to all shops and station. Way more towels than required. Nice view of Beppu from the rooftop bench (if not too cold outside). Easy check-in.Weirdly the nice kitchen says "no cooking here", you can only boil water. Western bed mattress is of very poor quality, so you're better off using the futons on the floor for a good night's sleep. Only negative is that it's at a crossroad where people shout loud at night. Even on a weekday, drunk people are downstairs. Windows don't stop any noise. So bring your earplugs.

Because I only stayed for one night, I couldn't say that I had a deep experience. To check in, you have to go to another accommodation 5 minutes away from the sea. It is best to make an appointment with the host. The house is very close to Beppu Station and near the Otengu. There is a dumpling shop on the underground corner, which is easy to find. You have to work hard to carry your luggage up the stairs. There is a shoe rack at the door (no shoes allowed indoors) and a rack for umbrellas (very considerate, it rained the day before). The room and bed are larger than expected, the bathroom and toilet are separated, and the kitchen and dining table are in another corner. The place is spacious enough. It would be perfect to take a walk after dinner, take a dip in the nearby Takewa Onsen and go back to sleep. The disadvantage here is that it is too close to Ginza Street and it is a bit noisy at night, so the landlord provides earplugs😬 In addition, the massage shower in the bathroom is a bit strong and feels like acupuncture.

A good place to stay if you are in Beppu for a few weeks. Bear in mind there are only apartments available and you need to visit a guesthouse about 5 - 10 minutes walk away to check in.

It was clean and close to downtown.However, even though it said it was equipped with Wi-Fi, it was actually connected but could not communicate.I used WiFi at a nearby shopping street.
