It was a long time ago, so I don't want to write about it now.It was about 15 years ago when I was a student. My father, mother, younger sister, and my family of four took care of me.I remember that at that time it was run by a husband and wife team.Anyway, the food was delicious, the horse sashimi was delicious, the chilled cucumber soup, and the potato namasu? Something made with thinly sliced potatoes was so delicious that my family and I ended up having lots of extra helpings of rice.I remember that they brought a rice cooker because the rice cooker wasn't enough.I'm kind of happy that it seems to be still popular.I would like to try it again sometime.I wish you continued good health. ☺️

The food and the owner and his wife were both great. I also thoroughly enjoyed visiting the outdoor baths (I visited all 13), which contributed to my becoming a fan of Nozawa Onsen.Thank you for the delicious food.

Perfect as a base for Nozawa Onsen♨️. You can check in from 14:00, so why not grab a towel and head out to the public baths or hot springs area while it's daylight❓?*The indoor bath is shared, so you can enter if the door is unlocked.By the way, the public baths in Nozawa are generally hot, so you won't be able to stay in the bath for long. Also, although there is a washing area, there is no shampoo, soap, or showers. Therefore, it is best to spend 20 minutes visiting each hot spring. You can easily visit 4 to 5 houses while walking in an hour and a half. The atmosphere and quality of the spring water are different, so please try as many as you can. There are two recommended plans:❶Look for shops while touring the hot springs❷Take a tour with food and souvenirs❶ and ❷, if you get greedy all at once, you'll end up having to carry more luggage 🧳 on your way home. All the baths get crowded after the evening, so we recommend taking a bath early. 😊
