The location is good as it is within walking distance of the shuttle bus. You need to walk about 10 minutes to the nearest convenience store and hot spring. It's an accommodation facility, but is there a new building with a front desk? There is a detached building, but if you apply for a cheap plan with Orion Tour, you will be in a cold room in an old detached building, but there is a heater and a kotatsu, so it was not a problem. I used it for 2 nights and 3 days in February 2024, but since it was a cheap plan, I didn't have a toothbrush (I bought it for 100 yen) or a towel, and for dinner I had the same menu every day: chicken + vegetable hotpot. You can have a second helping of rice, and it was delicious and filling, so it wasn't a problem.

We were a bit worried looking at the reviews, but it was the only place that could accomodate all of us within our budget. Look, it's basic, needs some maintenance, and the breakfast was average. But it's also cheap. If all you need is a place to sleep that's pretty close to shuttle buses and restaurants, then this will do the trick. The service is what is expected from a budget hotel, but the owner did offer us a lift into town when he couldn't order a cab for us, which was great. If you're expecting luxury, or even mid range accomodation at this price, you're dreaming. For what it cost, it was good. Could it improve? Sure, but who's perfect?

We arrived with sceptic feeling after reading the reviews, but they were clearly exaggerated. The breakfast is nice and service is really good ! The price-quality is the most important asset of this accommodation.

Exceeded our expectations after being 'scared' by the reviews online. Everything was alright and the owner really succeeded to give us a top service. He was always quick to help us with any needs we had. Very good value for money!

The room is different from the one on the reservation page. Toilet odor is flowing back into the building. The food is bad. It's dirty everywhere. Not cleaned.

Main building used. The most surprising thing was that there were foreigners smoking in the lobby. It's true that it doesn't say anywhere that smoking is prohibited...The heating in the room is mostly broken, and there are no towels or pillows, so you will have to bring your own.If you think of it as a mountain hut rather than an accommodation facility, you'll be more satisfied. There are many better accommodations in Hakuba for the same price.

The bathroom had a clogged drain and was flooded with water several centimeters deep, and there was a foul smell. I don't want to stay there again. Be careful when using it with a snowboard pack.
