I am a french solo traveler and I recommend this hostel in Munduk !The staff is very very nice, welcoming, helpful, and has a lot of humor. They offer coffee when you arrive. It's great. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, as is the entire hostel. We can eat at the hostel at advantageous rates. The breakfast is good and very plentiful.

The best hostel I've ever stayed in my entire trip to Bali! It is located near Munduk but off all the tourist routes. I loved this place from the first moment so much so that I decided to extend my stay by one night. The staff is super nice and available for anything. The beds are comfortable, clean and spacious. Two clean and spacious en-suite bathrooms. The structure looks new. The cuisine is very good. Laundry service available free of charge. A place to slow down and rest your soul. I recommend to everyone!

I had an excellent stay at this hostel.Dedi and Putu are so welcoming, they give you the best addresses.The beds are amazing. I have never had such a good hostel in Indonesia as here.I rarely comment on Google reviews, but you can go with your eyes closed.Everything was perfect.I met incredible people. 😍😍

Great hostel. All staff are really friendly and welcoming. Beds are very comfy and curtains allow good privacy for shared rooms. Hostel staff are so helpful at making itineraries and helping to get around the local area. Amazing food! Would really recommend.

Amazing, would rate 10/5 if I could. "Hostel, but feel hotel..." Very social. Will come back.Positives: lovely staff!!!, food, dog🐶, chill space, nightly campfire, tourism advice (rice field, secret waterfall, free trekking etc)., social, amazing beds, clean!, huge showers.Negatives: slightly more expensive (150-200k IDR/night for dorm) but comparable due to rural location.

if you are traveling on a budget in Munduk look no further than Desa Hostel. Kindest staff (cared for me like family when I was sick), great local recommendations, and delicious food, including a great breakfast. Rooms are spacious and clean. Close to the waterfalls via scooter. Thank you guys, until next time!! 💛

If you are looking for the real authentic Balinese experience, you should definitely come here.You won't only book an accommodation, but be welcomed by a caring family that will do everything possible to make you feel comfortable and to make your stay easier (pick-ups, recommendations, etc.)The area is a gem, you will see waterfalls in the jungle, amazing sunsets in the rice fields, and the most friendly people that I have seen in Bali.Dedi is an amazing soul. He is the kindest, funnier and the most helping host that I have had while my travel in Asia. He will make you discover his culture with love.The beds are amazing, the place so peaceful and perfect to rest, and the food is really good (and veg-friendly!)So please, don't miss out... visit there 😌☀️🏡

I absolutely loved my stay at Desa Hostel and by the end of my time there it felt like home! My stay was during my first week in South East Asia and at the time I was very nervous about my trip as a solo-traveler. The owners of Desa Hostel drove all the way to Denpasar to pick me up, they were very lovely and offered me fruits, snacks and water for the drive. When I arrived I met Dedi, the hostel manager, who offered me tea and a sticky rice cake. I spent my time visiting hot springs, temples, rice fields, and gorgeous hidden waterfalls. These trips were all facilitated by Dedi who became a good friend. Desa has plenty of places to relax (i.e. hammocks and reading spots), large comfy beds with curtains, clean bathrooms and air conditioning. The food is excellent and I plan to visit again and again!

Great beds, spacious rooms, clean bathrooms. I spend one night a desa hostel and felt really welcome through the whole stay. The included breakfast is good!They also provide lunch & dinner options, which were great.I would stay there again.
