I just took a 5 day ski instructor course and stayed there for the week. Just a few minutes walk from the Gondola, shops & restaurants. It was very clean. The room and lounge area were trendy and nice. It had a good ski room. Wifi. Laundry. The staff were friendly and helpful, and daily breakfast was included with the room price. It's a small place that's very comfortable. Good value for money.

Because I wanted to stay close to Tsugaike Ski Resort, I read a lot of reviews of different hotels near the ski resort, and finally chose this one ~ The value for money is super high!I took an overnight bus from Narita Airport to the Tsugaike area, and it only took 5 minutes to get to the hotel from the drop-off point. The hotel is very close to the nearby ski resorts, all within a 5-6 minute walk!!The hotel staff are all very nice and tried their best to help and answer my questions!Because I was staying alone, I chose the private bathroom type. The room size is very sufficient, but the bathroom is really small T_T! But the problem is not that big!When I went there was mid-March, which was the off-season, so there weren’t many guests, so I often enjoyed a sense of tranquility :)On the day of check-out, you need to go from the hotel to Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal and take the bus back to Shinjuku. The hotel can provide shuttle service, you just need to make a reservation with the staff one day in advance! Very convenient!The hotel has a dry room, a public bath (not a hot spring), and free laundry service!A little deduction is that the hotel only serves breakfast, and you have to go to other restaurants for dinner. I don’t have a car and I was too tired after skiing, so I looked for a restaurant within a few minutes’ walk. I don’t know if it’s because it’s the off-season, so no restaurants are open, and they’re not open every day! But there are quite a few choices!The hotel does not provide daily beds, towels, and garbage cleaning services, so remember to hang the towels to dry after you use them XDAll in all, Tsugaike is very suitable for novices! If you want to conveniently ski in ski out, highly recommended! I will book back to this hotel next time :)

Stayed in March. Awesome manager and husband duo. Very clean simple and basic place. Smack in middle of town near restaurants and the bus terminals. Huge comfy living area, dryroom, shared toilets and shower. Special thanks to keisuke for providing shuttles even during the snowstorms. Definitely be back.

Travelled Early March 2024, excellent location about 250m from the lift and ticket office . Clean rooms , recently renovated ,usual Japanese size.The staff were extremely helpful and obliging.Huge drying room ensured our ski gear stayed nice and dry.Good breakfasts with a reasonable variety of foods , it’s not a 5 star hotel. Lots of restaurants within 5-10 min walk.

A fantastic accomodation for those who are looking for an authentic taste of Hakuba Valley. Super close to the mountains and great eateries within walking distance! The service is incredible and the rooms are very well tended to 👌

I visited T Square Hakuba with my family in early January. We had a comfortable stay. Very good service by English-speaking staff as we travelled with my sister who is confined to a wheelchair, and they made arrangements to accommodate her during our stay. Alex and Anna (I hope I got her name right) were very supportive and kind.Our ground floor room and shared bathroom was clean, the lounge where breakfast was served was very nice, and the drying room for ski gear and equipment was definitely the highlight for me. Not to mention, the hotel is just a 5 min walk from Tsugaike ski resort. Would definitely go back there again!
