"It's a small family-run hotel. The rooms are spacious enough for 3 people, with futon bedding on tatami mats. It's not far from the bus terminal. The bathroom and toilet are shared but very clean. There's a hot and cold water dispenser on the 1st floor, and a dry room in the basement. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, but it's advisable to book in advance. You can also have your luggage sent to the accommodation in advance with prior notice."

We stayed here for three nights and we really enjoyed our time here. The owner was very nice, the room was cozy and big, the Japanese breakfast tasty and different every day, and there is an onzen inside to complete the experience.

The owner of this adorable ryokan was extremely thoughtful and considerate of our dietary restrictions. The ryokan is simple which is our style. It’s clean and well managed with a common area for socializing. Our room was spacious and the shared bathrooms were kept clean at all times. We also enjoyed the small onsen in the basement. In the basement was also a place to store and dry our ski gear which was amazing. We will definately stay here again if we go back to Hakuba.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast! You must request breakfast. I was introduced to a nearby rental shop, Woody, and rented it and got a discount on accommodation. Because the location is right in the middle, you can tour Happo's izakaya in the evening, and the convenience store at the village entrance is within a 5-minute walk. Have a warm and enjoyable ski trip in a cozy room that feels old!

Best choice for ski accommodation in Hakuba. Although the room equipment is simple and unpretentious, it is neat and clean. The landlady is gentle and considerate. You can always feel the full Japanese service spirit during your stay.
