Actually, I don't want to give even 1 star. The customer service attitude was the worst. I've been to many cafes, but this is the first time I've been made to feel so bad. When I went to the cash register to order, even though there was a menu at the cash register, he coldly told me, ``Please bring me the menu,'' and didn't ask me about my order until I brought it, and made the customer go out of his way to bring it. I thought it was strange. It was good that they brought extra chairs because of the number of people, but even though we had put chairs there, they said, ``This is in the aisle, so please move.'' The process of having the customer move it.Furthermore, I came to ask who had ordered it at a time when I was not sure who had ordered it until it arrived. I thought it would be a good idea to ask them when they bring the product, but I thought they might have some particular preferences, such as wanting to provide the product properly. When I thought I had brought the product, they kept asking me who had ordered it, asking me "Customer ○○?" and wondering what the purpose of the confirmation was...Even if I tell them, "Please leave it here," they don't like it, or they stubbornly ask, "Are you a customer of XX?" and they won't put the item down until the person I asked for raises their hand. What is your obsession? In the end, when I was putting down the dishes, the owner's wife dropped my iQOS, and for some reason she warned me, ``Please don't smoke,'' even though I wasn't even holding it. I was very surprised, but I thought there might be some misunderstanding, so I told him, ``I don't smoke, right?'' However, he kept insisting, ``Please don't smoke, because I don't smoke.'' We didn't back down...I don't know what kind of pride it was, but it wasn't like we made a mistake, so since we were dealing with a customer, I think it would have been better to relent. It seems that you are making some kind of rebuttal to other negative reviews, and I can understand your feelings of disgust and wanting to refute them. However, what the customer felt is also true, so I think it's important to accept that as well.Since the cafe is located in such a vast and beautiful natural setting, I hope the staff at the shop have an open mind.

The owner of the coffee shop was very rude. When I stepped into the parking lot at 17:00, I wanted to take pictures of sunflowers. She shouted: This is my land!I understand that the coffee shop closes at 17:00, but you can also talk well. Don't be so fierce.

Aussie here to say 15/10 for this place. First, the hosts are very kind and friendly. They actually drove my wife and I to the ski resort of our choice each morning, and provided a fresh made-to-order coffee. We stayed in Jan/Feb 2024, with a lot of fresh snow around.Second, the cabin (chalet!) is gorgeous. Clean, modern, roomy (for Japanese standards) for the two of us. We didn't use the loft bed, which would easily make space for a teen or two younger kids. I could go on and on about how beautiful the cabin is, but trust me. It is a gem! There are pots/stove, kettle, fridge, proper sink and dining room table so to you prepare meals if you like. There's a towel drier and space heater, which we found helpful for drying out our snowboarding gloves/boots/hats each day. A wifi speaker for music. A diffuser which makes it smell wonderful. The location is a A$10 cab ride to the grocery store (highly recommended, very affordable and interesting), or if you have a rental car about 5-10 minute drive. There's a coin-operated laundry at the grocery store. It was 5-10 min car ride to Iwatake, Goryu and Happo One. Cars/taxis were much faster for getting around than buses. We neeeded a rest day from snowboarding during our stay, and had a mobile masseur come to the cabin for two long massages. Highly recommended!!

A cafe with the best view of Hakuba Sanzan from the window! The smell of wood when climbing the stairs is also great. We had coffee, tea, cheesecake and scones. The fluffy and buttery scones are fluffy and crunchy, which is my favorite texture. It's self-service, but it's very relaxing!

●I'm picky about the taste of coffee and cheesecake, but they were delicious. The bed was warm and I slept soundly. The scenery is spectacular, and I would like to come back and stay at least 3 nights. ●What a little gem. A fiendly local couple operates a cafe/restaurant and I stayed at the adjacent cottage, cute and clean, albeit a bit compact but perfectly comfortable. The meal and drinks were plentyful (maybe even too much for an oldie like me) delicious. It's location is perfect, just a few min drive from Hakuba ski slope and with in walking distance to other restauratnts for dinner.
