An absolutely delightful place. The hosts have excellent communication. We took the standard pilgrim dinner and it was absolutely delicious! This wasn’t just food either, it was art that satisfied the stomach served with a smile. We had a room with small sitting area and dining area. The hosts were friendly and told us a way we could add some distance to our Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage by walking from this place to our next destination if we wanted to. Amazing sunset from a picnic table they have set up behind the guesthouse. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience of staying at a charming Japanese kominka (old farm house) in April. The hosts, Giovanni and Yutaka were welcoming and friendly and the guest house had a homey atmosphere where you can meet and chat to other customers from all around the world. Giovanni took us to his goat farm nearby and we were very lucly to have a cuddle with newborn baby goats. It is located near the starting point of the Kumanokodo trail and surrounded by the magnificent nature. Even if you don't take a hike to the trail, it will be a nice getaway from the cities.
