Misaki Town, Sennan DistrictThree of us stayed at Ryugukan, a culinary inn overlooking Osaka Bay, at the end of December 2023.I saw a sign that said Ryugukan, and the path I took from there was eh? I was a little nervous because I thought it would be so narrow that if an oncoming car came, I would get stuck, but I arrived safely without any oncoming cars (lol)Feels like a good old buildingIt's a very good atmosphere.I was shown to a room called Sakura on the first floor.There is no toilet in the room and it is shared, but it was renovated in a Western style so it was clean and no problem.I could see Osaka Bay from the Japanese-style room.The bath is not a hot spring, but it is a good size for 3 people.The temperature was a little high, but it felt very good.Meals are served in the roomI was looking forward to it because it was highly rated as delicious, and I enjoyed the food as it looked and tasted great.It was my first time to eat sashimi of blackfish, and the meat was light and delicious.The rice is also glossy◎There were only three of us staying that night, and we were lucky to be able to take a bath whenever we wanted without worrying about anyone else, and eat delicious food on a set table.There were few private houses around, so it was very quiet and I was able to spend a really relaxing and luxurious time.Mr. Nakai, who served the meals and laid out the futon, was also very friendly and easy to talk to.However, there are a few things that I was concerned about.First, there was no key in the room.I was told to leave the door unlocked and put my valuables in the safe, but I was a little nervous about leaving the room unlocked, such as when taking a bath.Wi-Fi was very weak and could be connected at night but not at all during the day.There are no handrails when entering the bathtub.I thought it would be a bit dangerous for elderly people (especially those who have leg problems) if there were no handrails when entering.Although there were some concerns, overall it was a good stay.On the way back, I asked Mr. Nakai that there is a famous azalea viewing spot (Tannowa Yuen) within walking distance from the inn!

I was allowed to go out to eat at a memorial service.I went there once over 30 years ago for a New Year's party at work.It's a super long-established store (*^^*)It's a nice, old-fashioned building with a clean feel.This time we were on the 2nd floor, but on the 1st floor you can enjoy your meal while looking out at the lovely garden.The food looks delicious, it's delicious to eat, and the tableware is nice.
