A very nice moment at the pension, a warm little place where the managers, their little daughter and the staff are adorable. We felt like home for an evening. Very good rooms, very good meals, private mixed onsen. Open-air hot baths and river right in front, incredible. Thank you so much !

It wasn't bad considering the facilities and location.I booked a room with a river view, but when I visited on the same day, they gave me a corner room because it was a riverside room. Moreover, when I went into the hot spring bath, there was a really big cockroach swimming around so I came out right away^^; Thank you to all the staff for being very friendly.

We booked this place in a last minute attempt to hike some of the Kumano Kodo. Booking individual accommodations along the trail turned out to be mission impossible, so we decided to stay here and do day trips. Couldn't be happier with this decision. The hosts here are the loveliest people, the location is great and the inn itself has got a special charm to it. Great (vegetarian) breakfast too. It was easy enough to reach directly from Koyasan (bus stop basically in front of the building) and the day trips we did were hiking back from Koguchi to the inn, and Hongu Taisha Mae - Hosshinmon-oji - Yunomine Onsen and back. Both very easily doable but taking the bus in the morning. Then when you return from the hike you can enjoy the river either hot or cold. Magical place!

A wonderful experience here. This is a family run business, and it shows in the way they care for their guests. They are available to answer any questions we have about the Kumano Kodo Trail. Food is delicious. Location is spectacular with a lovely river, with geothermal hot springs seeping out of the ground. Enough to make your own personal hot spring pond! Don’t hesitate and book your stay here- a highlight of our Japan trip.

After checking in last week, I discovered that we had reserved the room. Thank you to the boss for not rejecting our reservation because there was only one group of guests. We had all the space to ourselves, and the breakfast was not sloppy. Although the room was a bit old, it was still clean.

Recommended place in the nature reserve, with spacious rooms, facing a stream and the typical Japanese public baths in the middle of the stream, kind and friendly staff, we ate and drank until late in the company of the very welcoming owners, kind as were some of the guests Japanese people met in the guesthouse
