It's really just a place for sleeping. Bedspace if you will. Bathroom is in the first floor, toilet in the same floor as the bedrooms. Wish they had slippers for guests too though.Anyway, the guesthouse is right next to the train station and the bus stop and there are lots of restaurants around. The person-in-charge was really easy to talk to. They also have free wifi, and you can use their kitchen too so that's a plus if you want to make your own bento or something..

We reserved a 6 tatami room for 2 adults and 3 children.Since my goal was to visit the ocean and Adventure World, I wanted to keep the accommodation costs as low as possible, so 20,000 yen for 2 nights and 3 days with this number of people was extremely cheap.Also, you can get there in just 1 minute walk from Kii-Tanabe Station...in fact, just a few tens of seconds, so it's a big help if you have children with a lot of luggage and don't have to travel much.There is a beach called Ogigahama, which is a 10-15 minute walk to the sea.It's an inland sea, so it's perfect for families with children. I went during the Obon festival, but as the online reviews said, I didn't see a single jellyfish even though it was Obon.There is a direct bus from Kii-Tanabe Station, so I also went to Toretore Market, which was not on my schedule.There were other guests staying with us, including three young children, so I think we caused an inconvenience.The shop owner didn't make any unpleasant faces and was really kind to me, even though I was a child.I had my luggage delivered both on the way there and back, and although I was able to pick it up myself, they handled the handover, which was really helpful.We had fun making memories and sightseeing!Thank you very much (*^^*)
