The house is perfectly located along the Kumano Kodo route. Shino is an incredible host, and the food she prepared for us was delicious. We were lucky enough to stay at her other guest house, Guest House Kumanoyasai, near Takahara the night before, so we got to enjoy two days of her food, hospitality, and humor. Highly recommend staying at both of these places! Thank you again, Shino!

Such a great and cozy place on the Kumano Kodo trail. The host was very welcoming and it was easy to communicate with her in English. We also enjoyed the bento box dinner (for additional fee) while enjoying the scenary from the terrace. Breakfast was amazing as well!

We loved this accommodation. Not only because Shino provided us with such delicious food, but because the house was also in such a great location. Perfect for a stopover when walking the Kumano Kodo path. Supermarkets were within walking distance and the view in the evening was simply beautiful. The tatami mats were comfortable and the whole house was clean and tidy.Once again a big thank you to you Shino for your lovely hospitality and the lovely stay you made possible for us!

It was a very nice place to stay. It's been a while since I slept on a futon, but I was able to rest very comfortably. You can request dinner and breakfast from your host (dinner is an additional charge). It was very delicious.I had planned to look at the starry sky, but unfortunately it rained.I would like to stay longer if the price is a little lower. I was able to spend a peaceful and comfortable time.
