A very nice hot spring hotel just a short bus ride from Kumano Hongu. I enjoyed the nearby large open-air bath and the multiple hot springs within the hotel. The Japanese-Western style room was spacious and clean, and the staff was polite and helpful, making it a very comfortable stay. Since we had to leave early in the morning and couldn't make it to breakfast time, we had a rice ball lunch box prepared for us. thank you very much.

Thank you very much (Hotel Sasayuri)My parents and I lived happily and ate very happily! !This is the right place to experience Japanese style😍Shy friends can borrow the family bath, which is really cool ❤️The coffee and milk in the public bathhouse are really delicious, and the udon is also delicious. If you arrive at the hotel too early, you can come here to eat before heading out to visit the shrine. What I must mention is that the hotel staff are very warm and considerate. Knowing that we are travelers who seem a little confused, they will take the initiative to care about our transportation method the next day and give us suggestions🤣The hotel also provides a shuttle bus that has been reserved in advance. This is really helpful for us who are not able to walk. We can more easily reach the long-awaited Hongu Taisha Shrine.Thank you for taking care of me, so be sure to leave a five-star review! Let people who want to travel know this good place🫶

Although the location is quite inconvenient, the view is spectacular. The inside of the building has a retro atmosphere, and the stuffed animals from the shop are all gathered together in one place and displayed in a very cute way, so I was excited as soon as I arrived. There are also four baths, including a family private bath and an open-air bath, so we enjoyed the hot springs to our fullest.Best of all are the employees.Everyone was friendly and spoke to me and was very kind. This is a hotel that I would definitely like to visit again.

I rarely write reviews, but after my three-night stay for the Kumano Kodo hiking trip, I wanted to share my experience. The room was spacious enough for two, and the hotel is well-equipped with excellent facilities. In addition to multiple private and public onsen, guests have access to free amenities like a full-body massage chair and a foot massager. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and offered great value. The service was equally impressive, with staff going the extra mile to explain each ingredient in English. What truly motivated me to write this review, though, was the exceptional service from the gentleman at the reception, Mr. Shiraishi or 白石様. During my self-driving tour, I got a flat tire around 5:20 pm on September 9th. After safely returning to the hotel, I asked for his help to contact the rental car company. He spent an entire hour making multiple calls to ensure I could get it sorted, understanding I had to continue my trip the next day. Thanks to his efforts, my tire was replaced by 9 am, and I was able to continue my journey smoothly!
