After +20 years of travel experience as independent traveler and +15 years experience as hotel manager, this is doubtless one of the best accomodations I have ever been to. I mainly would highlight the professionality of Patrick, the person in charge, truly focused on guest satisfaction. The place has it all, the standard of service, cleanliness, maintenance, gardening, activities, room comfort, remote working facilities, food, breakfast is just unbeatable, hard to find not only in Bali, but anywhere in the world for these rates. I know how hard you have to work to keep it up, so I just must show my respect and say "Congratulations Villa Markisa Pakisan team"

Our favorite in Bali, located in an authentic village in the North of Bali, we had a relaxing and pleasant trip.The rooms are clean, the swimming pool and gardens are very beautiful, magnificent sunsets, lots of walks and outings around the villa.The meals are excellent!Patrick's welcome is perfect, he takes great care of us.We will come back without hesitation!

I felt at home!! I fell in love with this place which I highly recommend. The breakfast is royal and you can order food from them in the evening. You don't choose the menu, but it's a surprise every time and it's delicious.

It was a wonderfully relaxing and also wet week in the mountains of Pakisan with Frenchman Patrick, where we were well spoiled with fresh fruit and breakfast in abundance and especially his homemade desserts were divine 😇 think of chocolate mousse that melts on your tongue, homemade passion fruit - pear-banana ice cream and lime cake. We could have done worse.The rice fields around it were beautifully green, the village was truly authentic and tourists were rarely here.Everyone waves at us very happily.

If you want to experience the real Bali - out of the turistic tracks - this is where u should stay! In the middle of the North island countryside, in a traditional village, surrounded by rice fields, you will find quietness, learn a lot about the Balinese culture and its customs, eat marvelously, sleep well, and enjoy freshness in the pool! A scooter ride away from the sea, you’ll be able to organise one-day trips around and discovery all what the North has to offer. I highly recommend Villa Markisa Pakisan, it is a place that I will always remember!

We spend 4 nights/5days at Villa Markisa and it was amazing!We took it easy and relaxed a lot at the pool and loved the charm of the beautiful surroundings which feature many rice terraces.Breakfast was really good (Crepes with fruits as well as toast and coffe or tea) & we were happy to try new fruits we have not eaten before. Make sure to try the passion fruit which is out of this world!We rented a motorbike directly at the hotel and explored the surroundings (trips to the sea, Mount Batur or lake Bratan are a good tip).Patrick is a very inspiring and helpful person and he always made us feel welcomed and like at home. Thanks to him we got to discover the Balinese culture much more in depth as he told and showed us many aspects we did not know before.We would 100% recommend staying here if you want to discover authentic Bali from the comfort of a beautiful home.

One of our favorites from Bali❤️If you want an authentic experience in a simply splendid location with adorable and attentive hosts in the North of Bali: Villa Markisa Pakisan.We recommend with your eyes closed.At a really cheap price.An incredibly good breakfast.A dinner worthy of a 3 star.There is a local guide who offers you an outingSuper friendly.A driver if needed for excursions.Every day we tasted different fruits.Different dishes cooked by an Indonesian village cook on site.We can participate in the preparation with her, if we wish.A pleasant swimming pool.We can also do massages on site.The hosts speak French, English and Indonesian.
