The room is good in itself, although very poorly soundproofed. The modern and good bathroom. The terrible thing about this hotel is the place you have to walk about 500 meters and then go up less than 300 meters on a steep slope and the path is not suitable for suitcase wheels which becomes very difficult to climb. For me it was too much effort to go up with my suitcases, it hurt my shoulder and I was stuck in the hotel for a whole day. In addition, when we finally arrived at the hotel we had to continue climbing very, very steep stairs.I was disgusted in Naoshima almost there are no taxis the hotel should offer transport from the station to the hotel.

This hotel could be so much more. Staff are friendly and helpful. For the price of a night the hotel is very basic even for Scandinavian style. The beds are hard with flat pillows, an extra pillow is ¥300 which I would expect to be included for £124 per night. Breakfast is a set menu that has to be pre ordered the night before that consists of soup, a slice of toast, 1/2 a random sausage, bacon and a salad which I think is trying too hard to cater for all tastes whilst still only cooking to order and not worth the cost. The location is ideal for nice sunsets and the ferry to Miyanoura but for the a little extra you can stay at the Bessen House Hotel with free shuttle pick up. A Cold towel/napkin and water/juice on arrival would be a nice detail after walking from the ferry.

Although it was just the two of us at dinner, we were treated to a heartwarming meal. The paella was also excellent. I was able to enjoy a leisurely time on my trip. It was a nice, simple and clean accommodation that was all unbranded. thank you

From the port it's 1 km distance on a very very steep road and I even offered to pay extra fees to go back to the port with my heavy baggages but they refused having a couple of cars parked on the back of the hotel. They didn't even call a taxi for us, we had to walk to the port pick-up a taxi ourselves. Not to mention the two dangerous steep stairs to the room, heavy bagages again and no help from the staff.Noisy hotel, terrible breakfast. To avoid

We are a family of four with two teenage kids. We wanted space for all four of us so we booked the Wegner House which is a separate house/room from the main hotel.  …
