Fireworks were set off right next to the facility. They also lent me buckets and lighters, and I was treated with kindness. For dinner, the squid is delicious. I would like to use it again.

Had a great authentic Japanese breakfast (fish, miso, rice etc.) , great views of the sea from the dining hall... ryoukan type Japanese rooms... Will definitely come back 😁

I think it was my first visit in 36 years.When I was a student, I went on a cycling trip and visited youth hostels from Kanto to Shikoku, and this was one of them. The exterior, which has remained unchanged from the past, filled me with nostalgia, and when I entered the building, I was struck by the unique structure of the 300-sized guest rooms, even though it was on the second floor, bringing back memories of those days vividly.Although the building is quite old, both the building and the guest rooms were well-maintained and had a clean feel. The bathroom looked new, probably because it had been renovated, and the bathtub was deep and comfortable, allowing me to rest up to my shoulders.The food was delicious, but the cost performance may be a little off.It was helpful to be able to use WiFi for free.Youth hostels, which used to be crowded with young people touring, have declined over time, and now only a few remain in Shikoku. As someone who knows the good things about youth, I feel sad, but I can't help but hope that the era will come to an end and that the city will be as lively as it once was.

It is located along the national highway on the coast and the sea is right in front of you. It seems that they also sponsor various events held on the island. There are also events organized by youth.

I had a small accident during my trip, but the people at the hotel were very kind to me. I cannot thank you enough.The breakfast was very delicious. I was satisfied that I was able to enjoy a menu typical of Shodoshima. I also appreciated being able to buy local sake etc. at the front desk.

This is a youth hostel.[Amenity]It's on sale, but I brought it with me.【room】Although the facility is old-fashioned, it was well maintained and felt comfortable.Lay the futon yourself. The next morning, I removed the sheets and followed the written instructions.The bottom of the private room door was wide open, so I was so surprised that I jumped when I heard the door close on the same floor.【laundry】Laundry costs 200 yen and drying costs 100 yen for 30 minutes. I brought a gel ball, but it seems like they left it there.【drink】Self-service coffee and other drinks are available in the lobby (lounge). Wash the cup and put it back.Vending machines are located inside and outside the hotel. There is also an alcohol vending machine.【rubbish】Please separate and dispose of your trash in the designated bins outside your room.【service】There were a lot of comics in the lounge.It was great to be able to connect to Wi-Fi right away.[Bath]I don't know because I used the outside bath, but it was open until 10pm.【toilet】There are toilets on each floor outside the room.【cat】They greeted us at check-in time of 5 o'clock. We were able to meet after 7:30 the next morning.Her name is Nya-chan. After smelling his fingers, he let me touch it.He is a small child with a rust and tiger pattern. I was healed.The hotel staff were kind and courteous.
