First pilgrimage, walking, passing, and walking backwardsAfter I finished visiting Shido-ji Temple, I stayed at this inn, which was just a short walk away, without meals. This is an inn where you can feel the history and nostalgia in everything from the entrance to the garden to the large rooms. The room and bathroom were clean and I was able to rest my tired body after walking. This time I stayed without meals, so there were plenty of nearby facilities, so it wasn't an inconvenience, but the small restaurant attached to the hotel had a nice atmosphere, so I'd like to stay with meals included next time.

An inn that is a registered tangible cultural property. The breezeway and courtyard that connect the three buildings are wonderful. It is run by a kind and pleasant couple. Everything in the inn is clean and well-maintained, and although the toilets and baths are shared, there is also a washlet, and the baths can be privately reserved for each group. There are no bath towels, but there are two towels so you can use them. The meal was a delicious Japanese seafood meal, and the quantity and number of items was just right. The room is separated from the hallway by a glass shoji screen and there is no key. Fully equipped with air conditioning and heating. There is no refrigerator. Wi-Fi connects at high speed. A hot water pot, tea set, and tea sweets are available. There was a fairly large TV, and there were flowers arranged in the alcove. Because it's an old Japanese house, the footsteps in the hallway and the noises on the second floor were very loud, and I was nervous at times. There is one room on each floor, so you can't hear the noise from next door, but it might be a problem if there are noisy guests staying upstairs. In my case, it wasn't a problem because everyone in the building was asleep after 9 o'clock. I was lucky that I was the only person upstairs so there was no talking. It was a blissful time to relax in the room and look out at the garden. This is an irresistible inn for those who like retro inns from the Showa and Taisho eras.

Although it feels like a long-established establishment, the facilities, bath, and toilet were filthy, and the room lacked cleanliness.I don't want to use it again.I think it's cheap but okay. Not suitable for old ageI stayed at a nearby hotel, but it was the worst.
