There are quiet inns dotted among the narrow alleys and private houses. The inn looks as if it has blended into the local life. One of the attractions is that there are shops here and there, and you can experience valuable experiences that cannot be obtained through sightseeing. However, at present, its charm is not being fully utilized. When I previously stayed at NIPPONIA in Fukuzumi, I remember being deeply moved by witnessing the virtuous cycle of renovating old folk houses and regional revitalization. I was looking forward to visiting this inn, but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. I often felt that there was room for improvement in the service, as the staff's inexperience and lack of explanation were noticeable. The taste of the food was good, but the content was not good. The breakfast was just ``side dishes that go well with rice'' and ``fish,'' which was uninteresting for a hotel breakfast, and unfortunately there were no memorable dishes.

On August 3, 2024, on the day of the Kushimoto Fireworks Festival, a couple and a 4th grader stayed overnight for ¥78,000.Reservations were made in mid-June, and at that time, Sonobe 202 was the only vacancy, so it was very popular. As for food and drinks, there will be a fireworks display and the next day will be at Adventure World, so we will stay overnight without meals. There was a fireplace and a Goemon bath in the room, but we didn't use it because it was summer, but it's a really great item in winter.I couldn't shake the feeling that this price was expensive for a room without meals, and I was satisfied with the result, but I will summarize my thoughts. It was good point・Staff are kind and polite and have good smiles.- Large parking lot, no white lines, so you can secure a safety margin with your neighbor.・The air conditioning was the strongest, and it was pecan hot in the middle of the summer, so I felt revived when I entered the room. It was too strong so I adjusted it to a weaker level before going to bed.・Good amenities (especially towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap)・Actually, there were a lot of drinks in the room included in the accommodation fee (6 bottles of 350ml water, 2 bottles of Ebisu beer, 1 bottle of plum wine, 3 bottles of 350ml carbonated water, and a coffee maker with several flavors ← It was pretty good for me as a canned coffee user) was delicious)・There were many outlets in the room so it was easy to charge smartphones etc.Points for improvement・When I checked in, I wanted a staff member to accompany me into the room and show me the room's facilities and other things.・The wall of the garden where the Goemon bath is located is low and can be seen from neighboring residences. Also, when I used the Goemon bath, there was a special bathing suit in the room, but I didn't know how to wear it, so I would like it to be mentioned in the indoor guide.・I would like to request that the drinks included in the accommodation fee be listed as they are not listed on the website. Especially since it was summer, it would be helpful to know that water is plentiful.・In the summer, installing mosquito coils and equipping screens or mosquito nets (summer in Japan, summer in Kincho)・It would be nice if you could rent out a power supply extension cord for things like charging your smartphone.・With the risk of Nankai Trough earthquakes these days, I would like to receive information on emergency evacuation sites at check-in.that's all.I thought that the renovation of the old folk house, the area, the atmosphere, and the atmosphere made it feel like I had traveled back in time, which was very nice.

My husband and I stayed one night at Nipponia. We really loved how much detail the staff puts into anything: from the warm welcome, to telling the story of the single rooms of the hotel with a nice booklet, recommendations around the area, the meticulous renovation of the over 100 years old houses, the amenities, the goemon bath outside, etc. Highly recommended and thank you!

As it is a distributed hotel, it is not suitable for business use.・The location with front desk functions differs depending on the time of day. After following the guide on Google Maps, I arrived at a private house in complete darkness. When I called, I was told that I was in a different location at this time, so I had to move again while carrying heavy luggage. Careful guidance)・There are no convenience stores near the hotel, and you have to walk a long way to find restaurants. Alleys are narrow and there are few street lights.・I used it in March, but there were so many mosquitoes that I could barely sleep.

I went with high expectations, but it exceeded my expectations. Although it was an authentic old folk house, the interior decoration and amenities were state-of-the-art and comparable to a luxury hotel. It didn't seem artificial due to being too conscious of the "look" of an old folk house or a retro feel, and there were almost no inconveniences that I had imagined would be unavoidable (if there were any, they were completely soundproofed as I was informed at check-in). The only thing is that the living room was on a dirt floor, so I had to change my shoes when going to and from the bedroom.)From hand soap to shampoo to towels, Marks and Web sells everything, and I was just happy that it was of such high quality, but when I looked back at their website, I was told that they only have it because it's a Japanese brand. This philosophy is wonderful, along with the fact that the free tea and juices are locally produced.Dinner was also great. The food was delicious, making use of local ingredients. We also recommend pairing with alcohol. They also incorporated local ingredients to the extent possible, and they carefully explained the reasons for the pairings.I had a course for dinner and didn't think about including breakfast, but I wish I had included it! The dinner was very satisfying in quantity and quality, but it wasn't too heavy, and I felt like I could eat well the next morning. This time, the reservations were late and sold out, but I'm also happy that there is a plan that welcomes solo travelers with a discounted room rate! I'm thankful that even with the regular plan, it doesn't have to be that expensive for just one person...I also enjoyed the town of Kushimoto, so I would like to stay there again if possible, and since I have become a fan of Nipponia, I would like to explore other areas as well!

The room, the service, the service was amazingly perfect! We are so appreciated!I was very surprised. It is a very good hotel. It has preserved the original ancient style very well. At the same time, the courtyard and facilities have a very sense of design! The transportation is also good. I hope to go there again soon!

The building was a nice old folk house, but the barbecue was terrible. The meat was hard and tasteless, and it tasted like a cheap all-you-can-eat restaurant. There was also grilled turban shells and burikama, so I wanted to grill them with salt, so I contacted the front desk and was told that they did not provide salt or soy sauce.I was asked to eat it with yakiniku sauce.I thought the hardware was good, but the software was completely bad. They should offer Kumano beef steak even if you pay extra for it.
