At first glance you see a quiet, traditional, old, venerable wooden house with a beautifully landscaped garden with a pool right on the beach. However, a closer look reveals a few things that take some of the relaxation out of your stay here. On the one hand, this house turns out to be a dark cave, which can make any happy person become depressed after a certain amount of time. The possibility of locking the doors was probably the absolute worst thing here, because this was only possible with a padlock and would at best cause any burglar to laugh. Then the furnishings are very spartan and only here and there with a certain attention to detail. In addition, everything is very old and run down, it would be high time for some renovation work. Furthermore, a family of cats lives under the wooden stairs and of course finds it wonderful to romp around on the wooden balcony at night - sleep is hardly an option. The same applies to the many dogs on the beach. Not only is there often a lot of barking at night - you can also only make your way to Lovina Beach and back in the evening and at night with great vigilance and you have to expect aggressive barking and being chased by dogs. We had a dog ourselves and aren't actually afraid, but that was a bit suspicious even for us. All in all, we made the most of it and made the best of our time here. It is a great shame that more will not be made of this beautiful house and will leave it in such a state of disrepair.

We felt very well looked after here...we deducted one star from the rooms because the pool light didn't work for 4 days, but we looked for a solution as quickly as possible...the smell of the fresh towels was particularly great .the pool is huge for 2 people and clean. All the employees were very courteous and warm. WE laughed a lot together. There is a climate so we were able to sleep really well..... A little tip: it's a half-open house made of wood... of course you might have animal visitors there, including the noises..... it has us Liked.....the location 20m to the beach....the path to the dolphin statue is a bit tricky as it's mostly unlit...we'll definitely be back

We arrived early in the evening. The reception was a bit strange, security took us to the house and walked away almost immediately. Nevertheless, we explored the place ourselves and what a beautiful place this is. We had the Jungalo house (if I remember correctly), with a private pool and an outside bathroom.Breakfast is not included as standard, but you could receive it on request. The lady came to make it in the kitchen of the house itself.We had a great time here!

The villa was not the one we had booked. The pool water was green. The air conditioning in the room is extremely noisy. No television as expected in the description. Extremely disappointing.

Do not book dives through the villa manager as it is very expensive. He told us he could have our SSI dives validated but ultimately once paid and finished, this was no longer possible (sale but nothing after that)The villa is very good with enough comfort. Access to the beach via the villa.

Spent two nights here, and it was totally relaxing! Great sized pool, right on the beach. This is an old world Bali property, do not expect modern, it’s quite rustic but lots of fun and great location. Nice warung next door, walking distance to dolphin statue and town.

if you want to feel more traditional Balinese way, that's the place. bamboo houses by the beach highly recommended. relatively small capacity leads to cozy and not crowded place with decent service level. I did enjoy the stay a lot and would recommend the place

Excellent location right on the beach.The 2 level unit has a balcony where you can watch the boats go by or just listen to the waves gently lapping the shore.Far enough from the centre of Lovina to be quiet, yet an easy walk to the restaurants and bars of central Lovina Beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are rustic made from mostly natural materials ( though not very soundproof)This place is right on the beach and has a sublime pool set in a tranquil garden. It's far from the crowds and there are some great restaurants and pubs within strolling distance. The local are very friendly and helpful

Amazing location right on the beach. Unique bamboo style huts and friendly staff even though the last on front desk seemed to be the only one there when we arrived checking in people and cooking. There was a blackout while we were there, we had ordered dinner but they were unable to cook with no power so we went somewhere else
