It was built deeper into the house than I expected. The building is located a little high, so I couldn't feel the air from the surrounding houses. The toilet and shower are modern, but there is no bathtub. You have to go down to the dirt floor to access the kitchen and toilet, so you will need to wear sandals to get around. The room was very large and the children were running around. The children also experienced mosquito nets for the first time! What is this? I happily went in and out many times.Moths and spiders were wandering around when I was sleeping, so a mosquito net is essential even if there are no insects at first glance. The food is brought in from outside, and once the food is prepared, the staff members go home, and from there it's time just for the family.I went with the normal plan, but the amount was huge and I was very satisfied. Many of the items were locally produced and consumed, and everything was delicious.Alcohol and drinks were available in the refrigerator and sold at reasonable prices. But there aren't that many, so it's better to bring your own.The staff didn't come until check-out time, so I was able to spend time with just my family, feeling like I was back at home in the countryside.

I think it's an amazing experience to be able to stay in a 150-year-old traditional house. The only bathroom is a shower booth, but there is also a hot spring nearby. The only places to shop are traditional shops in the neighborhood, so if you need anything, it's better to prepare it in advance. The food catered by the nearby Akadama restaurant was very good and made the trip more exciting. It was a very good trip.

I stayed for one night during Obon. A building with a historic landscape that can comfortably accommodate 2 families of 8 people. It's rare for us to even be able to stay overnight, but the kids were so excited to be shown around streams, mountains, and rivers. This time it will be 2 nights and 3 days. thank you very much.

A new old folk house inn that rents out one group per day has opened here in the Shimizu area. We offer reasonably priced plans for small groups of 4 to 8 people for each usage scenario, such as traveling from sightseeing in Mt. Koya to Arita, or staying overnight after visiting Shimizu Onsen.Meals are not provided by the inn, so guests usually have to prepare them or eat elsewhere, but if the weather is nice this time of year, it's probably BBQ.You may also be able to purchase sweetfish and other fish from nearby river fishermen. In winter, mitten crabs are a must-try.Procurement within Aridagawa Town is available around the Arita Interchange. There are plenty of food supermarkets, and meat and fish are cheap and delicious. Farmers' markets are also located along Prefectural Route 22.If you ask in advance, they can also prepare meals for you. For more information, please call the front desk number. The dishes posted on the website are from the local Akadama Shokudo in Shimizu.
