I stayed at this inn with a friend, and it was a luxurious experience that felt like renting out an entire high-class private Japanese house. It was originally a renovated teahouse that was loved by the locals, and it had the atmosphere of a historic building and a clean and comfortable space. It was even more beautiful than the pictures and we had a relaxing time.Although it is basically a self-catering style, all cooking utensils and plates are provided, and you can purchase local ingredients from the nearby supermarket and enjoy Shodoshima life to the fullest. The ``olive hamachi'' in particular was exquisite, and it was the most delicious hamachi I've ever had in my life.

It's a very good accommodation!The other day, I stayed with a friend, and it was a very clean and renovated space, and it was even nicer than the photos. Shodoshima is rich in nature. The surrounding area is a quiet countryside, so of course there are insects, but the room was never poorly cleaned and I had a peaceful time in a clean room.All cooking utensils are provided, so you can cook the island ingredients you bought at the supermarket.Also, the owner's handmade guide that was in the room had lots of recommended shops and spots, so I used it as a reference. Personally, the curry from a restaurant called HOMEMARKERS is a big hit.There are many shops and spots that I couldn't visit during my stay, so I would like to stay at this inn again and try again.

This is an impressive inn.The inn is a renovated tea room that was loved by the local community, and the sophisticated space is new and very clean.One-of-a-kind tableware and carefully selected cooking utensils such as Balmuda.The washing machine and dryer are new, and it seems like they are having a very comfortable daily life.The children were also very satisfied.Highly recommended.

This time my family and I came to Shodoshima to rent a car and travel freely. We stayed for two nights. The interior space was elegant and clean, with good lighting and ventilation. It was very comfortable to stay👍The front yard has a large open space, the environment is beautiful, and it is quiet at night. It is only a five-minute drive from the supermarket! There are good kitchen facilities and public spaces. We went to the supermarket to buy ingredients and cook them. Tableware and kitchen utensils can be used. If you want to experience the accommodation space of a Japanese house, it is a great choice🏡

An elegant Japanese-style B&B with a very sophisticated interior decoration and complete kitchen utensils, dishes, etc.! It’s very suitable for a young man to drive a family trip!The location is close to the city, but the surrounding is very peaceful and there is a small yard, so people can enjoy such a comfortable environment!What a great place! I would like to stay again next time I have a chance to come!

It was a Japanese-style building with a sense of history.The space in the tea room is wonderful, and the kitchen, baths, and toilets are well kept.I was really satisfied with the delicious dinner I received and the prompt response to any problems I had.

I had a very relaxing time in a modern Japanese space surrounded by nature. I didn't get to meet the staff directly as I had the whole building reserved, but I felt very warm and attentive everywhere. Every corner was thoroughly cleaned and we had a relaxing time in a clean space.I'll be visiting again next year.

I'm a tourist who wanted to go to Shodoshima and I was looking for place to stay. Unluckily I’m having dinner right now and read reviews from others about the room environment. So disgusted that I can't eat as well as completely want to cancel my plans to go.

COCKROACHES 🪳 x2!!!Totally Disgusted 🤮 we wanted to throw up so bad… and we couldn’t sleep at night because there were so many!For the owner to have the audacity to demand “video proof” of the incident is also wild. Luckily we took a video and multiple photos.. or else he would have claimed that there’s no cockroaches.NOT RECOMMENDED unless u want to sleep with a room of cockroaches.P.S.The owner placed this 360 degree CCTV security camera in the room.. I don’t think this is even legal, that’s clearly invasion of privacy according to Japanese Law.
