My husband and I traveled for the first time in 5 years on a Saturday night at the end of September 2024. Hot spring inns are quite expensive, so I chose a hotel with good reviews near the station. The location was very good as it was close to the station and Zenkoji Temple. However, even though I looked online for restaurants that can only be eaten in Nagano Prefecture, I couldn't find it very well, so if possible, I would appreciate it if you could leave a flyer at the front desk with detailed information about the izakaya where you can eat at night. I will stay again.

The location is great, right in front of the station, but the parking lot is a little far away.Honestly, the single room is too small. The unit bath was also small and difficult to use.It may be by far the best compared to other Tokyu.Breakfast was expensive at 1800 yen.

Nagano center, reasonable price, excellent service, excellent breakfast, excellent attitude from the staff, fantastic location. Worth it! Small room but that is true for most hotels in Japan. recommend Below the hotel there is a local soba restaurant with a long line at noon. Soba is a noodle that is specially made in Bengano. The bowl is huge and the price is around 1100 yen which is about $7. The boy couldn't finish and that's an achievement.

The room was not cleaned by the staff, the towels still smelled. Near the station, easy to get around.

Absolutely tiny room, you could barely walk past the ends of the beds. Bathroom was very claustrophobic but everything was spotless. Communal areas were lovely. Handy for the station and shops around. …

When I bumped into an elderly staff member at the breakfast venue, he yelled at me as if he was bothering me (it's hard to explain, but you hear this when you almost bump into an elderly person at a crowded station or supermarket).Even though I am paying a high breakfast fee, I am in trouble if I am treated no differently than a passerby. Perhaps because it was so crowded, there were more than 10 customers waiting, and the staff were interacting with the customers right next to them, so I didn't feel at ease at all. I understand that it's busy, but the staff at the breakfast venue are generally unfriendly and grumpy, making it difficult to relax. The front desk's response was not bad, but they ignored me when I picked up my luggage after checking out. You probably don't have to say hello to people who have already checked out. Considering the cost performance, I don't think it's that bad.

Excellent location, near the station. We had a triple room, like other experiences in japanese hotels we had in our trip, you had to be creative with storage only one clothes hanging rod, no shelves and with 3 large luggages, the room ended …
