Disappointing service. When we checked in we were told breakfast service starts at 8am (very late compared to all other international hotels we have stayed at). We were only staying one night and had a 9am train booked for the next morning, meaning we were unable to attend the late breakfast service, which we had paid for. The manager refused to waive the breakfast charge for our room and we were not offered any suitable alternative for earlier delivery to our room as we have received with previous Fufu stays.

Absolutely at the pinnacle of Japanese hospitality!

2024.9The weather forecast was iffy, but there was no rain during the day.I stayed here for 2 nights.This is Fufusan's 4th location: Nara, Lake Kawaguchi, Nikko, and Kyu Karuizawa.From meals,Dinner on the first dayJapanese food: Unfortunately, this is the lowest of Fufu-san's Japanese food so far, and I had high expectations for its delicious appearance, excitement, excitement, and cold food, so I was very disappointed.Breakfast the next dayJapanese food: This was very satisfying. I enjoyed the different flavors of pickled tuna bowl, mentaiko roe, and curry.Dinner on the second dayTeppanyaki: It was great. I was worried because I had a disappointing experience at Teppanyaki in Nikko, but the food here was really delicious.In particular, the meat (texture and taste) and garlic rice (parallel but moist) are wonderful. Thank you, Chef Yasui.I would love to see you again.Breakfast on the third dayJapanese food: I guess there is no Western food here...The breakfast looked ordinary but was delicious.The room is a stylish twin room on the first day and a double room on the second day.The double felt a little small.The bath seems to bring hot spring water, but both were satisfying and I was able to enjoy it slowly and for a long time many times.If possible, I would have liked to enjoy a different atmosphere between the rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors (unfortunate)Overall, it was a satisfying three days.Hospitality was low compared to the previous three locations.Although it was clear that each staff member was working hard, there were many staff members who did not have the luxury of serving customers. I wish you all the best in your education.I will be visiting Fufu-san again, and I am looking forward to creating a space that will truly satisfy me.Also, it would be nice if the parking lot was a little wider.

I stayed for just one night during a three-day weekend.This is my third beginner in the Cato series, but I enjoyed it! The staff's response was mentioned in other reviews, so I won't go into it, but I could feel that they were attentive ☺️This was my first time using a rental bicycle at Fufusan. After using it, I thought it would be more comfortable if it came with a basket and a smartphone holder, as long as it doesn't violate the law! Please introduce it!I would like to stay in a luxury suite next time, so thank you!

Great response. The rooms, hot springs, and food are great. Although it was a hot spring with boiling water, my skin felt smooth.Regarding the free drinks in the room refrigerator, when I told them that I couldn't drink beer, they replaced it with another alcoholic drink, and I also communicated this to Nikko Kaze who was staying the next day, which was really nice.The room sweets cookies were also really delicious and I bought them as souvenirs.Most of the amenities and things in the room are the same as other Fufus.Anyway, it was quiet, and even though it was the busy season, I think it's perfect for when you want to hide away without meeting other customers or for a secret trip.Fufusan, I would like to visit Atami, Hakone, and Karuizawa again.

It's a very relaxing inn amidst all sorts of things. All the staff are working hard. It feels very comfortable and makes me want to go home. The food is also very delicious and will make you feel relaxed.

In any case, the wording and arrangement were poor.When I arrived, I was greeted by a male staff member. Thank you for your hard work... It's true that the male staff member was older than us.However, are the male staff so superior that they can be said to be a hardship to us? I think he chooses his words by looking at people, but does he choose the same words for customers who are older than him?Also, when I arrived at the rotary and carried my luggage, it was a bit of a mess, so I guess the arrangements were bad. I thought.It just opened a few months ago, so I guess it's not well-educated yet.When I was shown to my room, I thought she would explain the room to me, but she just told me where to put my pajamas and told me to ask the butler for the rest and left the room.The atmosphere was a bit strange, but I decided to take a bath in the hot springs and forget about it.When dinner time came and we moved to the restaurant, the rooms were divided into private rooms. I can hear a lot of voices next door, but that's okay... But this time, the Tonari Gacha was a huge failure. Damn noisy. I can't stand to see people who are old enough to have so much fun, so I decided to make him a teacher.However, the speed at which the food is delivered is slower than that. It's nice to have a private room, but maybe because you can't see it, when an item is brought in, it's left there for about 20 minutes. As a result, the voices next to you become even more noisy and irritating.Dinner starts at 19:00 and ends at 21:30, what's the deal? All other fufu meals took about an hour and a half for dinner.Also, it seems that the meat is grilled on a stone in front of the customer along the way, but the temperature of the stone is too low to grill it.I baked it halfway, but it wasn't cooked, so I was asked to try again, so I decided to take it down.The meat that is being prepared and grilled again is the meat that was previously partially grilled and then reheated, so the moment you put it in your mouth, it has a somewhat tough texture. This is already a wonderful SGDs spirit!Overall, I will never stay at Fufu again.There were a number of reasons for this, including the male staff's poor movement, poor planning, and poor language.The good thing was that the bathtub in the room was large.Even though it was new, the Sunlight Wind was better.Personally, I think Kawaguchiko, Nikko, or Hakone are the best places to stay in Fufu.

I received very warm hospitality from the time I checked in.I am very satisfied with the service and I have no issues whatsoever.
