This time, I planned to climb Mt. Kitadake from my home prefecture, Shimane Prefecture, and used it as a place to stay the night before. I considered taking a night bus that goes directly from Shinjuku to the mountain, but I was also curious about what kind of guest house it was, so I decided to take this one instead. The location is a little difficult to find, but it's a 5-10 minute walk to the bus stop at the south exit of Kofu Station, and there's a convenience store nearby, so it's convenient. The problem was that the staff were usually not at the facility, so it seemed difficult for everyone to understand what was going on. The phone number of the person in charge was written at the front desk, and when I called, I felt like they would give me the proper information. The dormitory room is a 6 tatami room with 4 beds, so it feels a little small. The floor plan is a studio apartment with a shared unit bath. This time, I shared a room with another person who was staying the night before climbing, and we were able to briefly exchange information. (Stayed on 8/6/2024)

It's about 5 minutes from Kofu Station, making it a perfect location. This time, I reserved a room with two bunk beds that can accommodate four people. There is nothing inside the room other than a bed, just a unit bath, a small desk, and a chair.Since everything is connected to the internet from the front desk, a reservation number will be sent to you the day before, and you can use the pat at the front desk to check it out. Once entered, each room will be unlocked using the electronic key number. The same goes for checkout. When I entered the room, it started to feel very hot, but it calmed down after about an hour when I turned on the air conditioner. Don't worry, the internet environment is free to use. There is a dining area on the first floor, so you can enjoy a snack together. However, there are restrictions such as usage time and shower time. A washing machine is included, but please note that there are time restrictions. The bed isn't very good, but if it's just for sleeping, it's worth the price.Might be cheap for families with small children. There is no parking lot, but there are parking lots nearby that cost 300 yen to 600 yen, so you don't have to worry.

When I stayed there for the first time in six months, the atmosphere had changed. In addition to the handsome staff (from Australia), more than half of the guests are from Europe and America. Before I knew it, I started having drinking parties with people from various countries in the beautiful kitchen, and it was fun.The kitchen is on the first floor, so no matter how loud you are, it won't be heard in the bedroom. This is still a regular accommodation.

I made a reservation for 3 rooms for 3 people, but I was told that there were no reservations. When I asked if a room could be prepared, I was told that 3 rooms could not be prepared because the bed would be treated as a room. In the end, there were 3 people in one room.Information is too difficult to understand. If the bed is to be treated as a room, it will be irreversible unless it is clearly written down. This was the first time I was so frustrated at check-in.

A low-cost guest house near the station.I stayed in a rented room. The room had two bunk beds, a unit bath (bath, hand wash, toilet), desk, and chair. They will lend you towels. There are no tissues, refrigerators, lockers, etc. in the room.
