I decided to use it because the reviews were good, and I feel like it's just as good compared to many other dog shelters.The bath and room were good, but I thought the landlady's handling of salt was certainly good.I don't go back because I'm tired of worrying about whether I've done something to bother them.

There's only one restaurant deep in the mountains, so I got a little nervous on the way, but arrived safely. A cute hostess welcomed us. I was able to enjoy the hot spring bath slowly and slowly.It felt clean and had no odor at all. The food was very delicious. I think this is a dog-friendly inn.

I was welcomed by a very cheerful young proprietress, and I was provided with slippers with my dog's name on them, which made me feel very warm.The welcome drink of local wine was delicious.There were 3 rooms: a Japanese-style room, a bed room, and a playroom for the dog.I was surprised to find so many toys in there! All dog amenities are available as per other people's reviews.The dog treats handmade by the young landlady and the welcome card with the dog's name written on it are also nice.What I was most happy about was the dining hall, which was well partitioned and had almost private rooms, and was spacious.The dishes are rich in ingredients from the mountains, and the famous hoto hotpot is light and salty.The Koshu wagyu beef was also delicious.You can stay with your dog on a leash inside the facility, except in the large public bath.My husband and I are both big smokers, so being able to keep our dogs on leashes in smoking areas and other places was a great help.Hot springs are very good for your skin and are so moisturizing that they calm down rough skin.Among the amenities, there was a face mask (a compressed type that can be used by soaking in hot springs), which I thought was a great idea.The shower flow was a bit slow, but if I washed slowly, I thought it wouldn't be a problem.Breakfast consisted of lots of side dishes, regular white rice, and Ochazuke←The soup stock was quite delicious.The person in charge of the dining venue was also very nice.I even received a souvenir on the way home and had a happy time from start to finish.I would like to go again.

I stayed at a hot spring inn for one night so I could stay with my dog. They were very considerate of the guests when they greeted them after arriving at the hotel and when they checked in at their rooms! The welcome drink and food were very delicious, especially the dinner, which included wagyu beef and was luxurious🐮The hot spring water is lukewarm and keeps you warm even after you get out of the bath ♨️ The outdoor bath is a little lukewarm, so we recommend warming up thoroughly in the indoor bath!I enjoyed taking a footbath in the open-air bath attached to the room while letting my dog play in the dog run.There are various toys for dogs, and most of the necessary amenities are available 🙆The bed was a little soft and I'm a heavy person so I would have liked it to be a little harder.I even received a souvenir at the end!When I arrived home, I was very happy to see the photos taken at dinner♪Overall I was satisfied with the hot spring inn and would like to stay there again!

My dog and I have been using it every year for about 3 years now.This is a recommended inn where you can enjoy hot springs fed directly from the source, delicious cuisine made with local ingredients, and nature.Is it compatible with salt as mentioned in other people's reviews? I am always soothed by the care and cheerfulness of the landlady, who has nothing to do with me.We have a complete set of dog supplies, so being able to go on a trip with the bare minimum is very helpful.I will be sure to visit you again next year.

It's a nice inn, but I don't think I'll be staying again in the future. (Second visit)When I visited for the first time around the end of the coronavirus pandemic, the proprietress was very kind and the food was delicious, so I was very satisfied.On my second visit, I think it was the same proprietress, but I was disappointed that she was very rude.Also, about the food.It was very delicious, but the menu was exactly the same as when I visited a few years later.I thought it would be fun to have something a little different.The entire facility is well-maintained and has a very clean feel.The water temperature in the bath is high and it feels good.

I stayed with my dog for one night. It was a great and very considerate response. There was a welcome sign at the entrance with the dog's name. The room is spacious and my dog is satisfied. The cleaning was also thorough.I was happy to have my dog with me at the restaurant. The dishes are prepared using plenty of local ingredients, so you won't get bored.Baths are changed, but either bath is good, so we recommend taking a bath at least twice, before and after changing.There's really nothing around, so you can enjoy walks with your dog to your heart's content.Recommended.

When I tried to make a reservation, children were not allowed.Even though the website proudly posts photos of her with her children.Your child? It was my first time staying here. It is located halfway up the Southern Alps. Enjoy the view of the mountains, the flow of the river, and an extraordinary feeling. The food is delicious, the space is relaxing, and the bath is just the right temperature so you can stay in it forever. The open-air bath feels a little lukewarm, so we recommend taking a bath in the indoor bath before soaking in the open-air bath. Unfortunately, the water pressure in the shower was low. You can also enjoy the scent of sulfur and the flowers of hot water. The hospitality is also great. It was a very relaxing stay.

I used it on my last trip in November last year with my 17-year-old dog, who passed away in April of this year. As he got older, he didn't want to walk as much, but I'll never forget seeing him happily roaming around the large room. I was able to make precious memories with my beloved dog. I was also really happy that I was able to receive a nice souvenir on my way home and remember this trip. The food was very delicious and the service was good...Thank you for the wonderful memories.

When I used it around 2018, the landlady was very nice and it seemed like it was easy to use the hot springs for a day trip or stay overnight. Recently (2023), there are no day trip hot springs available.I don't know if the landlady has been replaced by someone else, but it's a shame that she seems more salty than before.Personally, I think that when it comes to lodging and sightseeing, satisfaction is gained by paying for the hospitality and response when using the facility, rather than the facility, so I don't think I need to use them anymore. I stayed with my dog. The entire inn is designed to accommodate pets, so we had a very comfortable stay. The two rooms are spacious and clean with no pet odors. It was really quiet with no surrounding noise reaching the room. It was great that you could bring your pet with you for meals. The selling point is the hot springs that have been certified by the Japan Secret Hot Springs Preservation Association. The hot springs flow directly from the source, are colorless and transparent, and have a slight sulfur smell. Both the indoor and outdoor baths were wonderful. It was a satisfying stay. Recommended.

Before the coronavirus, I went on a day trip to take a bath, and it was a hot spring inn deep in the mountains at the end of a paved road, and it was very quiet and relaxing.The water was a little hot, but since I went during the fall foliage season, it was the perfect temperature.It's not a large bath, but luckily we were the only ones in the bath, so we were able to use it privately.
