The rooms are simple, but the service is nice. The owners are gems and really kind and they speak good English too. We enjoyed our breakfast in a stunning room. The only negative point is the onsen. Instead of being open to all hotel guests, the baths are private and there is no system, so you may be waiting awhile for a bath because some guests may take longer than they should. Private onsen is nice but maybe there should be a service where you can pick a time. There was also kind of a line to enter and it felt competitive to get the bath. I really enjoyed the massage chair!

I love this place. I recommend going for a more authentic experience. The owners were super friendly and even gave me candy. The have a generation of family living. I saw a lot of reviews talking about a cute couple but now their daughter has grown up and even got a little kid. Not sure about the name but a very cute kid even waved to me while i was sitting in the lobby

Lovely guesthouse run by a lovely couple. They exhibit warmth and sincerity and run the place with heart. The rooms are cosy, clean and big, the onsen is delightful and the breakfast is excellent. You can also see Mount Fuji from the entrance on a clear day. The couple went out of their way to recommend me places to visit around the area and provided tips on where to park. The location is quite out of the way, so private transport is recommended. Would stay here again.

Stayed here for 4 nights with 5 people in two rooms. Highlight of the stay were the owners who were extremely kind and offered to drive us to the station and picked us up from the station as well as drive us to other places on 5 different occasions. Bikes are also available if needed. Breakfast is available every morning from 7:30-8:30 and hot springs are open from 7-9 and 19-23. Overall a great homely and cozy place to stay if you want to experience Onsen and Japanese style rooms.

It is an absolutely lovely place. It is owned by a very friendly old couple. Rooms are comfy and clean. Breakfast was good. You can use onsen on private. We received a free ride to the station in the morning. It is a little bit far from the center and attractions.
