Highly recommended. This hotel is old but with very traditional vibe. Our room is big and clean, the window has nice view to the river. Onsen is very comfortable. Food is just okay. Staffs are very friendly. Compare to the price I paid for, I was very satisfied. The hotel also has snack bar for kids, comics library with cute sitting areas. I can tell the staffs are well considerate for the guests.

Very nice onsen. Good beds. Buffet was good by Japanese style. A bit pricey I thought but not unfair. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Good place for a night.

There was a live performance by Kenichi Suzumura, so I stayed there. The view from the room was good. However, there was no heating in the room and it was cold, but on the way back I took a shuttle bus to Kawaguchiko Station, but I forgot my earrings and ring in the room before arriving at the station, so I had to go back to get them. I did. thank you very much.

I recommend this place for those who don’t care for ‘new hotel’ experience. Honestly, this hotel is of some ages, but I can feel that the hotel staff and owner have been doing their parts to run the hotel. If you don’t have high budget, and you are ok with the not so new hotel, this is the right place. As not the peak season and not so may visitors, I was able to enjoy the hot spring, alone! There’s a comic corner which opens for guests only.

Beautiful Hotel with a stunning view of Lake Kawaguchiko. Amazing free onsen experience with both indoor & outdoor onsens. 2nd lvl has another onsen that faces the lake, and it was lovely. We booked the private onsen for ¥3300 yen for 45mins, but it was a tiny indoor one (see my video) so I would recommend just going for the public onsens. Breakfast was good, location is good. Had a lovely stay at a good price!! 🏔♨️
