I stayed alone for one night last week. The facilities in the room were the same as those in a basic business hotel, but I felt as if I was greeted by nature as far as the eye could see as soon as I stepped out of the room. I had a lot of time for the bonfire that I was looking forward to, and it was a relaxing and luxurious trip! Basic cooking utensils are also available, so cooking is easy.Next time I would like to spend more time and visit you around winter.

I stayed at the Quad in September for one night. The course consists only of breakfast, and in the evening we buy ingredients from a nearby supermarket and have a barbecue. It's clean and has all the necessary cooking utensils and tableware.A place where you can be surrounded by nature and feel like you can melt into the atmosphere.Recommended for resetting your usual busy life.Whether you're going alone or with your family, it's perfect for any situation. The gentle and polite response from the owner was also wonderful.I would like to go there again.

This was an EXCELLENT place - I feel very fortunate to have found it! The owner is very kind, friendly, and hospitable. He speaks English very well, which can be a plus if you don’t speak or know Japanese like me.The location is very convenient to the Kai-Kozumi train station for those who are not traveling by car. It is a 5 minute walk although a very short section of the road does not have a lot of room or sidewalks. A car or other transportation would help though if you want to explore places in the region. I was lucky that the owner was available and kindly offered to drive. The tiny home is clean, stylish, and well-designed. They have premium bath products and other accessories such as facial toner like in most Japanese hotels (but not American hotels). While it was hot outside, the tiny home was quite comfortable with a cross-breeze. There is also AC/heat depending on the season. Plenty of outlets and WiFi was reliable enough for me to do a little work even thought I was supposed to be on holiday.I really enjoyed the food! I had the best BBQ, all with locally sourced food. The coffee was really good - and I’m from Seattle!I really recommend this place especially for tourists who are looking to experience nature in Japan that is other than Mt. Fuji. The Yatsugatake mountains are so beautiful. I can also see this place as a great location for a small retreat. I came here for rock climbing and hiking, and I will definitely stay here the next time I am in the area.

I visited here to do nothing. The location was perfect and we enjoyed the change of time from the sunset to the starry sky and the clear sky the next morning. At the BBQ dinner, we ate some delicious wild game, and enjoyed coffee over a bonfire. The breakfast, made with plenty of local ingredients, was also very delicious. The menu that came with breakfast had a message about what I had talked to the owner the night before...I felt warm.I read a book while drinking coffee on the terrace, and I stretched while looking at the beautiful scenery. This is exactly what I wanted! I was able to spend a luxurious time.My earrings, which I had accidentally washed down the sink, were collected after I checked out. I was really happy to have my favorite earrings back. I felt that the hospitality of the owner, who always sent warm messages during interactions, was wonderful. This is a hotel that I would like to visit again in different seasons.

My wife, my daughter who just turned 5, and I stayed in a trailer house (quad) for one night. Although it was only for a short time, the time spent surrounded by nature at the foot of Mt. Yatsugatake was a memorable day and night. This will be my first experience and photos of The Nomad Yatsugatake. As the typhoon veered to the east and there was a mix of sunshine and light rain, I drove my rental car from Kobuchizawa Station and checked in. The site near the railway crossing is on a gentle slope (it's a huge site for several trailer houses!). Since I live along the Chuo Line and Chuo Expressway, I started visiting this area of Yatsugatake often about 10 years ago. If you have a car, there are convenience stores and supermarkets within 10 minutes, parks with play equipment, walking paths, and restaurants. The hotel is conveniently located within 30 minutes from the tourist areas of Kobuchizawa, Kiyosato, and Nobeyama.I didn't have any plans as I was staying overnight without meals, but I went to the supermarket to buy some meat and vegetables, and had a BBQ grill prepared in a hurry. What you can see from the wooden deck in the evening is the large grounds full of midsummer greenery and the mountains to the south, and what you can hear are the voices of birds and the cries of black-bellied cuckoos. The blue sky and white clouds are reflected in the large mirror-like windows of the mobile home. Just as I was about to forget about it, a two-car train on the Koumi Line came and went, making the sound of a diesel car. I borrowed soap bubbles and a badminton set to play with my daughter, and at night I was given a bucket and candles, and I spent the night playing with handheld fireworks that I had brought with me.After sunset, you can hear the sounds of insects, and the bright moon begins to rise, so you fall asleep in anticipation of the star-filled sky before dawn. When I woke up around 3:30 a.m. and pulled up the roll curtains on my bed, I saw a night sky full of stars with very few clouds. The windows are large, so whether you're on the upper or lower bed, you can lie down and watch the starry sky. While I was looking down, I looked up and saw a wild deer walking through the grassy area under the starry sky (it's hard to see because it's dark, but I've included a photo of the deer). In the morning after a second nap, we bought bread and coffee from a bakery that opened early in the morning, and we enjoyed spending time on the wooden deck until the last minute of checkout.Luxury time passes by in the blink of an eye. Staying in a trailer house has a lot of charm that cannot be said enough. The trailer house has an exquisite layout that suits the vast site, a design with large windows, and a well-thought-out interior. You can feel the owner's commitment and trial and error throughout.I would like to visit again in the season when it has a different look than summer. We would like to thank the owner and staff for their help and support during our stay. We look forward to another opportunity.

I stayed with a dear friend for one night and two days! The room was compact but clean, and the warm wood-like atmosphere made it very relaxing. Even though I had missed getting off at the nearest station on the day of the trip, they quickly arranged for me to be picked up and picked up.Mr. Ohno asked us to change the menu a few days in advance in anticipation of the drop in temperature that day, and we were able to enjoy a very comfortable stay thanks to Mr. Ohno's kind consideration.I was able to enjoy the outstanding scenery with an overwhelming sense of freedom, and the time passed by quickly as I felt like I was a child again. We changed our meal from BBQ to shabu-shabu, and the vegetables and meat were all locally sourced and really delicious!I would like to visit you again in a different season!Thank you very much for your help during this time!
