We had a great time at Asahi! A unique traditional Japanese experience!. Sayuri, the host is the most kind and very knowledgeable about getting around the area. Whenever we required her assistance for going on our family trips, we received a satisfactory response. There is an equipped kitchen, clean and large rooms and the place is well maintained.

What a wonderful experience we have had at Asahi. If you want to experience traditional Japanese living, then this is the place.First of all, about the host - she is the most kind and helpful person I’ve ever met. She was always there to quickly answer any questions we had and also helped us by recommending sight seeing and dining out places. We were so amazed by her hospitality. Her family is also very nice. The house is spacious and clean. The best part is the view of Mount Fuji from the bedroom! That was truly spectacular. We were there for a very short time but we had such a wonderful experience. The host is so humble and kind and we were truly touched by her hospitality. We would surely stay there if we go back to Fujiyoshida in the future.

I had my first experience in a B&B near Lake Kawaguchi in August 2023. I didn’t expect to meet such a considerate and understanding owner Sayuri. It was really more comfortable than staying at my daughter’s house or my sister’s house. The B&B is about 1 km away from Geteji Station and takes about 10 minutes to walk, but Sayuri always told us that she could pick us up. But in fact, I enjoy strolling in this quiet small street at night. There are many izakayas coming out of the station, and occasionally there are izakayas. The sound of joy always makes me want to take another look. The B&B room is very spacious, clean and quiet, and you can see Mount Fuji from the room window. The kitchen is also large, with all utensils and seasonings. One night Sayuri knew when we were going back and even prepared bath water for us first🛀. The B&B has about a dozen bicycles of various sizes, and you can ride to the nearby Sengen Shrine, which is a viewing platform that is not inferior to the viewing platform of Mount Fuji from the Lake Kawaguchi bus. When I go to a strange city and have a B&B owner like Sayuri, the whole journey feels convenient, comfortable and safe.

Sayuri is the best host I’ve ever met, she gave us lots help before and during our stay in Asahi, the house is beautiful Japanese style, you can see Mt.Fuji clearly outside the window!Sayuri, the owner of the B&B, is the best B&B owner I have ever encountered. Not only did she provide a lot of help before and after check-in, but she also had no problem communicating in English. She is a very chatty and friendly person. She helped us with transportation and booking tickets, and treated us like family and friends. The accommodation is also very close to the popular Asakura Park, and you can see the beautiful Mount Fuji when you open the window!

It was a lot of fun. It's cheap, it's clean, and we had a barbecue for four people until 12:00. (There are other houses nearby, so don't make a loud noise.) I wasn't able to meet the owner, but I just talked to him on the phone and he was kind. I will go again. Thank you to my grandfather.

Typical Japanese hostel. In reality it is a typical house, which you have to enter barefoot, with all the comforts, near Fuji, and with a kind and friendly owner. My family was delighted
