Stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed every moment. Great service from the host and her help and we had a lovely swim in the pool every day. The only criticism would be that there is only limited hot water from the shower, otherwise it is lukewarm at most. Not a disaster in itself at 30 degrees or more, but a hot shower is nicer. Had a nice stay. Make sure you rent a scooter (also from the host), the slope is steep to the cottage!

About the rooms are not exactly the same that in the photographs, the walls are dirty and when we enter in the room we found some geckos there. Probably because there was like a cranny in the bathroom.About the trips we booked a snorkel trip to Manta Point with two options (50% and 90% to see Mantas) one more expensive than the other (difference is the price, not the visibility of the Manta). We didn’t see one. If the sea is too bad to see them in other cases they would tell you. Nevertheless the guys of the boat where so cool, warm and such nice people and they are not to blame.Finally, we rent a motorbike for two days and in the last day parking the motorbike my girlfriend (Not the motorbike) fell off. The bad part of this when we came back to the hotel we found Wayam (the hoster) and we told her about the incident. DON’T DO THAT. Because on the last day appear the guy of the motorbike telling us that the moto “doesn’t turn OK, that felt too stiff” and that we have to pay 120 euros (2000000 IDR) for the repair. It is a good form to convert an cheap hotel to became a good scam. We still waiting for the invoice too see what parts are going to be repair.We asked the taxi guy that brought us to the port (hired by the hotel) if it is usually this types of additional charges to the tourist. And he told us that we had to be careful driving if we don’t use usually motorbikes considering our “accident”. WOW how the driver knew about the supposed accident… The perfect situation for them. We strongly not recommend.PD: The wifi in the room not work at all.

Quite well located, close to warongs where you could eat very well at a very good price, clean and spacious rooms, very good breakfast brought to your room, very affordable drink prices, very well-kept garden with a good pool , very quiet, run by July who helped us with everything, from managing the transfer to the port, getting a car with an excellent driver, managing a snorkelling session where we saw manta rays to getting us ferry tickets back to Bali cheaper than in the website, all at good prices, we were delighted with our stay in Nusa Penida.

Very good hotel with very good value for money. However, I do not recommend booking excursions through the hotel because they have increased the price by 30% at the end of the excursion.

Accommodation of 10. The facilities are in perfect condition; Comfortable and clean rooms, quiet but good location close to various services. Nice pool, surrounded by nature.They have a pick-up service and they also helped us buy the boat ticket. They offer laundry service and scooter rental, which is very convenient.The treatment of Wayan, the host, was excellent at all times. They even did us the favor of taking us to the port on a scooter!If you are looking for a place to stay in Nusa Penida, this is your place! Unbeatable quality/price

We recently stayed at Arunika Cottage after we had to move out of other local accommodation, due to a couple of issues. The host was fantastic, incredibly accommodating, and couldn't have been more helpful. We really felt welcomed, and it completely saved our time on Nusa Penida. I'd highly recommend to anyone visiting Nusa Penida.
