I stayed at a guest house.My wife was still at the front desk when I arrived around 7pm. Thank you for guiding me very carefully.I was satisfied with the whole room, it was warm and you should definitely take a look at Mt. Fuji on the 3rd floor.

This was a fantastic hostel stay! The hosts are very welcoming and extremely helpful with providing information and were flexible with our check-in time. The place was very clean, well-maintained and quiet. Would definitely recommend for anyone staying in the Kawaguchiko area.

It's good except that it's a bit far from the train station. You can feel the romance of a guest house and it's a great place to take care of your personal needs before heading to Mt. Fuji.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The staff is very friendly and courteous and everything is super clean. The rooftop is wonderfull and we also could use the bikes. Loved it!

Accommodation at Kawaguchiko is not cheap. Likewise here. The cost for bunk bed is higher than premium capsule rooms with more amenities elsewhere. You are paying for the view of Fuji san here provided you are lucky to see it on a clear day. Basic toiletries, coffee and tea are provided. I do hope the owners would consider providing a simple face wash.I stayed in the mixed dormitory. Someone snored very loudly on the first night. My ear plugs could not block it out completely. On the second night, next bunk guest made a lot of noise with the metal/wood hangers in the early morning. Would be better if the hangers were made of rubber or lined with rubber. I will only consider female dormitory (less risks of loud snorers) or premium capsule after this experience.The guesthouse is located about 700 metres walk from Kawaguchiko station. You can leave your luggage after check out but if you think it's going to rain, better to leave it at the lockers at the station. Tip: Pusan bicycle and kimono rental shops offer cheaper lockers than the station ones.If you are a foodie, I would recommend you try Hotokura Funari (spicy udon and horse meat sashimi) and La Luce (the restaurant's 5 dishes) and only do lunch at Engawa1441 because dinner is double the price.

The hotel environment is neat and clean, the equipment is very complete, and the owners have maintained it very well. It's about a 10-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station. If you don't want to crowd the bus, the hostel provides free bicycles, which is also a good choice. You can see Mount Fuji directly from the top floor! Mount Fuji is most stunning in the early morning or dusk, so be sure to go and enjoy it.
