Retreat Camp MahorobaOne of the best Camping sites in Kawaguchiko. It will reward you with a nice view of Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt.Fuji. ✨The campsite is very nice and quiet. We went there around mid October but Fuji-san still doesn’t have its snow cone.It does get cold at night time even though its still early fall.Shared toilets and shower rooms are available which are nice and clean. There will be nearby scenic spots near camp such as Tenku no Tori and Haha no Shirataki Falls. It’s around 10min walk from the camp.I would definitely go back here next time.Btw we stayed at the Dome Tent and it is amazing. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I used it about a month ago.Use the auto site right next to the reception. On that day, there were no neighbors and the room was reserved. The location and the staff were friendly and very nice. thank you very much. However, the engine noise, door opening/closing sounds, and talking voices in the middle of the night were so unpleasant that I had trouble sleeping for the first time. I could hardly sleep. I was scared and didn't go outside, but I heard it right near my head. You've come all the way to a retreat, but it ends up being ruined. It's a shame. Each person's manners are important. I hope it improves.

Stayed for a 3 day weekend for vacation. The spot was perfect and the view great. bathrooms and showers were super clean. We rented the electrical assist bikes to explore the area and went around the lake and on some hikes. The shuttle service was so nice as this is up a mountain side and we didn’t have a car. Thanks for the stay!!

It was cool and the scenery was nice, and I was able to see the stars, moon, and night view at night. The people at the campsite were also nice. However, many of the users were young people, and it was quite noisy even at night. Also, when I was relaxing at the site around 9pm, I was surprised when two people suddenly crossed in front of me.This is a site that someone else has paid to rent.I don't think it's possible that it's a bit out of line.I thought it was not worth the price.

I stayed in a yurt with a view of Mt. Fuji. In addition to a sink, towels and futons were provided in the yurt, and although we were hit by a thunderstorm ⛈️ and couldn't see Mt. Fuji 🗻 because it was hidden in the clouds, we had a comfortable stay.🚿The shower room can also be used 24 hours a day.You can also have a barbecue. It's a campsite, so there are insects, but they don't really bother me.There are many foreign visitors, and there are several types of tents and equipment. There were solar panel signposts on both sides of the path to the tents and yurts (similar to mobile homes in the Mongolian grasslands), so I didn't have to worry about going to the bathroom at night. However, when it rains, it can get muddy and slippery, so a flashlight is a must when traveling at night. You can move your car until 9pm.

Highly recommended.Stayed only one night in the luxury quadruple room (dome) and wished we could have stayed more. Staff were English speaking and very helpful. The actual room was very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Detached toilets and showers were nearby and very clean.Unfortunately it was raining for our arrival into the night however we woke with fantastic views of Mt Fuji. You won't be disappointed here.
