The staff were lovely and accommodating of our needs. Very professional but also warm and friendly. Made our stay a standout. The whiskey bar was just a bonus and the Keith Haring museum is wonderfully curated. Highly recommend.

The team at Hotel Keyforest were incredible for our entire stay. They helped me organize a marriage proposal and the whole moment went perfectly. It's stressful organizing a proposal on a trip to a foreign country and I couldn't have done it without Takaki, Mariko and the rest of the team. In the end I think they were more invested and nervous about the proposal going well than I was lol! Their professionalism, hospitality and attention to detail created a trip we will never forget. Thank you to Takaki, Mariko and the rest of the team for creating such a special moment for us. We'll see you again soon.

Everything was wonderful!|The spacious room , the beautiful private onsen , access to the Keith Haring Museum , the courteous and professional staff …. We decided to take this trip at the spur of the moment and it was totally worth it !!! We hope to go back again in the fall.

We stayed at Keyforest for two nights, as part of a trip to the nearby Hakushu distillery. We did not know what to expect, as this was our first foray outside the major cities in Japan. To our very pleasant surprise, this turned out to be one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in some really great ones). The rooms were gorgeous and big, with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed the on-site whiskey bar. The staff was very accommodating; when we wanted a different restaurant for our second night, they just drove us there and back. And we loved the private hot springs / spa area, maybe three minutes walk from the hotel itself. Then there's the Keith Haring Museum next door - took us about 30 minutes to go through, with a lot of cool artwork. Super great experience, we would love to go back!

I used it with a plan that included a visit to the Keith Haring Museum.The exterior is stylish, and the interior also has a lot of attention to detail. From the rooftop, you can see Mt. Yatsugatake, and at night, if it's clear, you can see the starry sky. A quiet space and scenery that will make you forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life.Breakfast was delivered to my room and was delicious.I was able to fully enjoy this trip thanks to the detailed explanation from the staff after arriving at the hotel.

It feels like it's more than a guesthouse and less than a second-class hotel, neither good nor bad.Like others, I don't remember the price because I got it through the AMEX Black Card Concierge. He took me the biggest room.I have several villas around Kobuchizawa (ancestors, grandfather, father, myself),If you can find a hotel this quiet, you might not need to go to the trouble of owning your own villa in terms of cost performance.Is it about 500,000 yen for 10 beats?It's probably more cost-effective than building a vacation home. There's no need for maintenance.But only if we can come to some compromises.If there is no hot water in the washroom or if the employees are at a rural level, etc.

I'll update my impressions of my favorite hotel that I've been going to for several years.The open-air bath, which is a 3-minute walk away, can be reserved for one hour...If it's sunny, you can see the sky full of stars, which is great! I'm so slow that I forget the time and always rush to get ready. Since it is cold in winter, you can also request transportation by car. For elderly people, it may be dangerous to be under your feet in an open-air bath in nature or in the darkness.There was a time when the bath temperature was unstable and felt like a cold bath, but now it seems to be heated and I can enjoy both lukewarm and moderate temperature baths.For dinner, you can enjoy dishes such as wine trout, a specialty of Yamanashi Prefecture, at the adjacent steak restaurant. When making a reservation, you can choose your desired course, such as half course or full course.Breakfast used to be served in the whiskey saloon on the first floor, but recently, due to infection control measures, breakfast was delivered to your room.It wasn't originally intended to be eaten in the room, so the table and chairs aren't suitable for eating, but it's not a big problem.In the morning, I want to drink regular drip coffee instead of Nespresso, and I get nervous coming into my room in the morning, so I want to have breakfast on the first floor early.

The quality of the rooms, equipment, and amenities...it was the best hotel in the Kobuchizawa area in every way. Since the rooms themselves are small, there are few guests and we were able to receive maximum hospitality.The welcome cake in the room was handmade by the restaurant and was exquisite...I wish they would sell it.The open-air bath is a few minutes walk from the inn, but since there were elderly people there, the staff was kind enough to pick us up and pick us up by car.It was great to take a bath while looking at the stars.The bathroom in the room was also very nice.What impressed me was the pajamas in the room. I was able to sleep comfortably in the pure white pajamas made of high-quality linen.The microwave in the room was also convenient for heating up meals bought from outside.Of the two nights I stayed in Yatsugatake, I stayed one night at Hoshino Resorts, and this hotel was my favorite. I definitely want to stay here again! !I also liked that the staff were wearing jeans and casual clothes ^_^Thank you for all the help you have given me!

It was a pretty good hotel.The bath is a 3 minute walk from the room. Winter is cold, isn't it?It might be more interesting to stay overnight without meals and eat around you.I will come again to stay.

The rooms have a modern design, ensuring a comfortable stay. The view from the balcony is wonderful, there are spacious chairs, and you can smoke.It's a summer resort, with a dry climate that's much cooler than Tokyo.

I can't believe it's in Japan! I never thought there was such a wonderful space! This is an art hotel that will leave you impressed. What's more, it's attached to a museum, so it's definitely authentic. This may be the first time that a concrete building has been built with such attention to detail. There are also concepts inspired by the Jomon period throughout. Natural hot springs, dinner, and bar hospitality. An unparalleled perfect combination! There are only 6 rooms + 2 rooms, so it is said that it is difficult to get a reservation on the weekend, but it is easy to understand why it is so popular. I would like to visit again. Thank you to all the staff♪
