I stayed for one night on a weekday. The price was a little over 10,000 yen including two meals. The room, hot springs, food, and most other aspects were slightly below expectations. The only positive factor was that it was cheap for a one night stay with two meals.

A style of taking alternate cold and hot bathsIt felt good because we were taking turns, so it wasn't too cold or too hot ✨

It was a day trip to the hot springs, but I wanted to try it at least once, so I called and headed over. The men's bath that day was a narrow cypress bath. The women's bath was a large bath with a rock bath.I was healed and my fatigue disappeared (lol)

Today, in the rain of a typhoon, I took a community bus from Kawane Onsen Hotel to JR Shimada Station, took the Tokaido Main Line to Fuji Station, took the Fujikawa Minobu Line, and came from Minobu Station to Shimobe Onsen Station. It was 700 yen to take a Yamanashi taxi in front of the station to Motoyu Ryokan Daikokuya. The way there was all the way uphill, so I took a taxi. (It was raining a little on the way back, so I walked down the hill, which took about 40 minutes [laughs])Day-trip bathing costs 1,000 yen, and there are no rental towels, so please prepare your own. There was a fan running and a hair dryer.I could see the clear stream flowing from the bathroom, which was soothing, and there was a hot spring and a cold spring. There are no lockers, so you can leave your valuables at the reception. If you come to Shimobe Onsenkyo, please enjoy a day trip to the hot springs.

Appearance with a Showa retro atmosphere. The hot springs, which alternate between hot and cold, are the best way to relieve fatigue from the core. I would like to come again.

It's more of a cold spring than a lukewarm one, but strangely your body doesn't get cold and you can use it for a long time. It's old, and there are insects, but if you don't mind those things, this is a ryokan you should definitely visit. It's along the river, so you can sleep while listening to the sound of the river, but for me it was very effective for sleeping.

Since the source temperature is as low as 32 degrees Celsius, there is a heated bathtub next to it, so you can bathe in it alternately, making it a hot spring suitable for hot spring treatments. It might be a little harsh in winter!Dinner was a banquet meal at a ryokan for the first time in a while.Among them, the salt-grilled yamame trout was delicious.Thank you for the meal.Thank you Shimobe Onsen.
