Excellent! Heartfelt service. It's a cheerful and enjoyable experience. Professional design in room design. Super clean environments especially washroom and dinning areas. Romantic mood and family friendly inside and outside courtyard. This place is good for vacation and business purposes. The hotel has high demand in quality services. Staff are helpful and well trained. Scenery view from room window. So much more to say. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed.

We stayed here in August for 3 nights. It was absolutely incredible. Easily my favourite of the hotels we stayed in during our 2 weeks in Japan. What a beautiful little gem surrounded by nature. Lake Yamanaka is just a short walk down the road where we had astonishing views of Mount Fuji reflecting off the lake. It literally left us speechless. The hotel was gorgeous, very clean, with comfy beds, and the best private onsen. The food was fantastic. The staff are over the top friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to help us with our day climb of Mt. Fuji. To the girl who helped us and is considering trying the climb next year - thank you so much for your help! Subashiri Trail was tough, but manageable. As a beginner, perhaps you should stick with Yoshida. Good luck!!

The room we stayed smell musty and are made of plastic and fake materials are not very comfortable. The refrigerator does not get very cold. The staff approaches you with a friendly smile, but unfortunately they have no desire to give good service and only follow the manual. We were told that breakfast was served at 8:00 a.m. and when we told them we had to leave early, no exceptions were made. The surroundings are quiet and the location is pleasant. However, the lake is not visible from the hotel. When a room is surrounded by plastic and you are told that they will not change the bed sheets because they are eco-friendly, it just seems like a cost-cutting measure. The beds were not made, and we feel that there is a fundamental difference between not changing the sheets and omitting bed-making.At this level, this amount of money is not acceptable at all. Unfortunately, this is not an inn I would recommend.

We stayed here in time for the Yamanakako Hoko Festival on August 1st! Since there was a fireworks display, dinner was prepared as soon as we arrived! The fried rice was really delicious!I was worried about the room being 20 square meters, but the ceiling was high and there was light on two sides, and the large TV was mounted on the wall, so we stayed there for three people and it was plenty of space! There is also a cute common space where you can read comic books!I borrowed a wine glass and pajamas in the middle of the night, but I was able to keep the pajamas! Great service! All the staff were very friendly and we were able to take lots of photos! thank you very much!If possible, I would have liked to take a bath in the morning, since I wouldn't have to reserve it for myself! It was new, clean, and like a stylish pension in Karuizawa, so it was really great! Recommended!
