Comfortable, quiet, delicious breakfast!Takes credit cards, too!My first ryokan experience and while the host didn't speak any English, we managed to get things sorted without much difficulty. Excellent location along the Tokai Nature Trail!

I highly recommend this family owned "ryokan" or "Minsyuku." Pls have dinner and breakfast in this place (Marukei), their food is great using their home grown vegetables and home grown japanese mushrooms. Owner family here is very nice. Lake Shojin near this palce is very nice too, you should go around and will find the best place to Mt.Fuji & the lake around here. This is a recommended inn. I stayed there for one night with half board as a solo traveler. The dishes used seasonal ingredients such as home-grown vegetables and mushrooms, and the seasoning was very delicious. Although the building is old, it is well kept and does not bother me. The families at the guest house are also very warm and kind, making you feel at home. The nearby Lake Shoji is surprisingly beautiful, and you can easily go around it, and there are spots where the combination of Mt. Fuji and the lake is truly beautiful, so it's worth coming all the way.

The rice is plentiful and delicious. I am thankful that the bath is large and I can take a bath anytime. We also have a variety of other small services that we are happy to provide. There were many books related to Jukai in the lobby.

More than 30 years ago, when I was in elementary school, I visited a guesthouse every year.Although the accommodation is simple, it is well-maintained and has been renovated, making it feel like visiting a close relative's home in Yamanashi. The food is delicious and hot items are served hot. And best of all, it's cheap. The families at the inn are also warm and kind. I'm home. The atmosphere makes you want to say, I'm sure the children who were small at the time are now adults, and it makes me feel nostalgic as if I were an uncle to my relatives. The bath is a normal household bath. I wish it was a little wider so I could take a bath with my friends, but...The location is a village surrounded by a sea of trees, so it's set back from the national highway and is really quiet. I loved renting a bicycle and cycling through the sea of trees. This guesthouse is recommended for those who want to enjoy a leisurely time in the forest.Since this inn is filled with memories of my late father, I want to make it a place where my children will feel as they grow older and have children.

My family of 5 stayed here for 2 nights. Although it feels a little old, it was well-cleaned and very hygienic.I was impressed by how delicious the food was, just as others had said. There was a baby cot in the hall, so even though we had an infant, we were able to eat with peace of mind. There are no towels in the bathroom sink, so it is better to bring your own.We received home-grown vegetables and drinks as souvenirs, and it was a very pleasant stay. I think there will be repeats.

I recommend about this "Minshuku".you can savor "Minshuku experience".They are really kind.and you can use free wi-fi :)It was used by a family of three. Although we made a last-minute reservation, we were given an upgraded room, which was spacious and the children were very happy. There was also a kotatsu in the room, so the husband, who was experiencing his first experience at a guesthouse, was overall satisfied.Since there is a rooftop, you can see the starry sky and Mt. Fuji floating in the moonlight, making it a great memory early in the new year!Considering the balance between the price (booked through Rakuten) and the hardware and software services, I thought it was a very reasonable accommodation! ! This is an inn I would like to visit again ☺️
