An excellent place to stay if you’re looking to explore Fuji and Kawaguchiko! The rooms and common areas are well maintained and the view of Fuji from our room was simply stunning ☺️ While there is only one shared shower room for the guests, the area was clean, spacious and we had no issues at all with the hot water. Definitely recommended!

Perfect welcome, came to pick us up at the station, and took us back.They lend bikes, and even gloves for the cold.The rooms are spacious and the view of Mount Fuji is breathtaking.The bathroom is very nice, with a bathtub like in an onsen.They even gave us photo postcards that they made themselves. We will happily come back one day!THANKS

Lovely Airbnb! The view of My Fuji from room 12 was amazing! The hosts are kind, the house is clean, and the shower is nice and hot. I hope to come back the next time I’m in Japan.

The location of the hotel is very easy to find, and the rooms are very clean. You can feel the care and attention of the owners!The key point is that you can really see Mount Fuji directly from the guest room🗻The boss and his family are very warm and kind. Not only did they give us homemade dried persimmons, but they also gave us a ride to the station when we checked out! I will stay here again if I come to Lake Kawaguchi next time.

We stayed here for 2 nights and we wish we could have stayed longer. The photos look just like the real view, you can genuinely see the mountain from the accommodation (if it's not a cloudy day). I wasn't too sure at first about shared bathrooms etc but because everyone is always so busy doing their own things we hardly saw anyone so it didn't feel shared at all! I was also a bit worried about sleeping on a futon as I do love a nice soft mattress but it was surprisingly comfy and we slept really well (g)There are bikes at the accommodation and coin laundry and supermarket walking distance.Aki, his wife and family were amazing. So friendly, helpful and prompt with responses. Aki gave us lots of recommendations for local spots for food, sightseeing and hot springs and we tried to get round as many of them as possible.Would highly recommend anyone to stay here for a traditional Japanese feel and amazing views of Mount Fuji.
