Although the building feels old, it is well-maintained and the rooms and bathrooms are clean. The quality of the spring water is good and there is also a private open-air bath.

Although it is old, it is well kept and comfortable. The bath was also wonderful with soft hot water. I used it to go to the mountains, but I would like to make it my permanent home.

Since it was mid-afternoon on a weekday, the bath was reserved for private use. I was able to get rid of my sluggishness by going back and forth between lukewarm water and cold spring water!

33 years ago, I stopped by Koikeso on my way back from climbing Mt. Konaru. While enjoying the hot springs, I fondly remember the 80-year-old grandmother sitting in front of the large electric fan in the men's changing room, calmly cooling off, and laughing out loud, saying, ``I didn't have all these wrinkles back then.''
