A brief history of the city of Tarakan:1916 AD, this dynasty was first led by Amiril Rasyd Gelar Datoe Radja Laoet and ended when it was led by Datoe Adil. The Southeast Dynasty is located in the Pamusian area, Central Tarakan.Starting from the entry of a Dutch oil company with the name BPM (Bataavishe Petroleum Maatchapij) in 1896, it discovered oil sources on Tarakan Island. The Dutch East Indies government felt it necessary to place an Assistant Resident on this island who was in charge of 5 (five) regions, namely: Tanjung Selor, Tarakan, Malinau, Apau Kayan and Berau. However, in the post-independence period, the Indonesian Government felt the need to change Tarakan's regional status to Tarakan District in accordance with RI Presidential Decree No. 22 of 1963.The strategic location and position has been able to make Tarakan sub-district one of the industrial centers in the northern part of East Kalimantan Province, so the government needs to upgrade its status to an Administrative City in accordance with Government Regulation no. 47 of 1981.The status of an Administrative City was again upgraded to a Municipality based on Republic of Indonesia Law no. 29 of 1997, the inauguration of which was carried out directly by the Minister of Home Affairs on December 15 1997, while marking this date as the anniversary of Tarakan City.Municipal status based on Republic of Indonesia Law no. 29 of 1997, the inauguration of which was carried out directly by the Minister of Home Affairs on December 15 1997, while marking this date as the anniversary of Tarakan City. Furthermore, with the issuance of Law Number 22 of 1999 concerning Regional Autonomy, its status changed to City and based on this Law, regional development and expansion occurred, namely the status of all villages in Tarakan City changed to 20 (twenty) Villages.Since 2012, Tarakan City has been part of North Kalimantan Province, along with the expansion of this new province from East Kalimantan Province.....................................................🔴. follow the journey of PUNK RELATING INDONESIA on the YouTube channel: Street Punks TvAlso follow Instagram @diandados77And tiktok @streetpunkstvThank you 🤗🤗
