Honestly we had quite a disappointing experience during our stay. Issues are as follows:1. We communicated over email a week before our stay that we need to add 2 people to the stay. When we arrived to check in they had no record of this email exchange, and we had to wait for them to call around to other employees before confirming. They had to bring extra accommodations for the extra 2 people later. (I forgave this issue as a simple miscommunication at first and wouldn’t have commented on it were it not for the recurring issues we faced afterwards)2. Upon arriving, the house had several issues - the light bulb in the bathroom was out, the kettle was broken, and the lock didn’t work properly. Someone came to fix the issues, but the lock remained a problem throughout the stay.3. The lock - our biggest issue throughout. The automatic lock seemed to be low on battery and would only partially move, meaning that the lock would only actually lock about 50% of the time. This was obviously a concern and we called several times, but the issue was never resolved.4. The level of service was very low considering the amount we paid. Every time we called about an issue (especially the lock), the person on the phone made us feel as though the issues were our fault and they weren’t apologetic at all. The lock not working caused us a great deal of stress - we were only ok to leave our place without a locked door because of how safe Japan is, but there’s still no excuse for not having a functioning lock. We would have preferred a physical key.5. There is very little privacy within the house we chose (Soushuku) and the sound travels between all rooms (there is no full wall between the two bedrooms). This could have been communicated better on the listing. The house itself was overall nice, but considering all the issues we faced and the poor level of service, I would not stay with this group again.

Beautiful and comfortable place to stay, but the service was so terrible. I haven’t got any information, so I waited 30min in front of a door.Kindly, the neighbor helped me to open the door. And then the staff called me and said sorry. But I couldn’t feel him sorry for me.

We stayed at the neighboring Sojuku. All have stylish floor plans and interiors. There are three bedrooms, so I was able to secure a private room when I was traveling with friends.Fully equipped with appliances, you can enjoy modern comforts.

The interior is poor considering the price. The supplies are also poor. There are better places, so let's look for them.

I used it with three female friends.I felt at ease because I checked in at a counter near Kyoto Station and it was as clean as a hotel lobby.Thank you very much for your detailed explanation and for arranging a taxi for me.Please give me a map to the hotel. It was easy to explain to the taxi driver. (There was also an explanation in English, so it seems to be friendly to foreigners as well)When we arrived, unlocked the door, and entered the room, the room was just as beautiful as the photo, and the three women were all very excited. It was a hot day, so I was very happy that the air conditioner was on when I arrived!Shopping at Nishiki MarketI had a lot of fun making things in the kitchen. There were all kinds of cooking utensils, so it was very comfortable to use. However, they said they didn't have any seasonings, so I brought a variety of things with me this time. There is also a convenience store nearby, so you can probably find some basic items.Since there were three of us, we had one futon laid out in the Japanese-style room so we could each sleep in a private room.TV can also be connected to Netflix etc.The washing machine and dryer were very comfortable. In today's world, it was great to be able to enjoy a private house.I would definitely like to use it again for other series.Below are some points that I was concerned about.・It is safer to have double locks at the entrance. →If you can jump over the first one, will you let it in?・The TV is located low and does not respond well.・Difficult to use as there is only one sliding door for the kitchen and refrigerator・Lighting is a little dark・I don't know how to operate IH→I couldn't use it for a while because there was no explanation for unlocking.Basically I'm very satisfied.thank you very much!

●I was so excited in the super luxurious space.● There is air conditioning in the washroom, and there is a hairdryer, iron, etc. so you can feel comfortable while getting ready.●The kitchen area is stylish, such as Balmuda and Cutipole, and I'm thankful that I can drip my original coffee properly.-I was able to check out a little later, which was helpful since it was raining.●It would have been nice to have hooks or hangers as there are no hangers and the only option is to fold clothes.●This time, we prepared cheese fondue. I didn't have anything like a tabletop stove, so I placed a chair in front of the kitchen and enjoyed it directly from IH. I would like to enjoy hot pot in the winter, so I would be happy if you could provide a luxurious space such as a tabletop IH.

I stayed here while living in Kyoto.Since it was used by two people, it was very spacious and relaxing. When you open the door, you will see a machiya-like approach, and when you step inside, you will find a very stylish space with a machiya feel and a modern atmosphere. The kitchen has a door, so it looks stylish, but when it came to actually cooking, I felt a little inconvenienced by having to move the heavy door from side to side. Also, I'm not used to using IH in the kitchen, and I didn't know how to use it for a while, so I thought that just explaining the tablet might not be enough. I think it would be better if there was a little more detailed usage. However, thanks to the availability of pots, dishes, cutlery, etc., I was able to enjoy cooking. The coffee provided was also delicious. Also, the bath was a nice space with a view of the inner garden. It is also nice to see it lit up at night. The Japanese-style room also had a relaxing feel, and I was able to practice yoga in luxury. The stairs to the second floor have a structure where you can see the bottom, so it was a little scary to go up and down in a hurry, but both of the two bedrooms were comfortable, and the wood from the townhouse above was still used. I felt calm watching it.I would also like to stay at one of the other townhouses. thank you very much!

When I arrived home, the electricity and air conditioner were on, which was very helpful since it was midsummer. The atmosphere was a mix of Japanese and Western, and it was an exciting place that felt like a hideaway.I went with two people, but I think there were facilities that would have been more enjoyable for four people. (cooking, etc.)The people at the reception were friendly and helpful, which was great!
