This is an extremely high level of satisfaction that is not proportional to the low price. There is only one group per day, so you can relax to your heart's content in a spacious and elegant room while looking out at the quiet garden.I was also impressed by how carefully every corner of the building was cleaned.I would like to use it every time I come to Kyoto.

Three women stayed here on a kimono trip.I chose Amiya because I could rent out an old private house in Kyoto and save money on lodging costs, but it exceeded my expectations. One word is wonderful. It's a nostalgic Japanese house, with transoms and wavy glass, and a courtyard with a nice view, so it's worth seeing as well. The water area has been thoroughly renovated, the cleaning is perfect, it's clean and tidy, the fluffy futon is a relaxing space, the owner's thoughtfulness, etc...it was a truly relaxing and wonderful trip. Also, I had a full-length mirror in the Japanese-style room, which was perfect for traveling in kimono♪This is a recommended accommodation!

We stayed at the house for only one night but this night was unforgettable. First there was a very warm welcome and a tour through the house. A traditional big japanese house with two floors in a very quiet backstreet. Shops and restaurants are only 5 minutes away. The rooms are so neat and clean. A huge bathroom where you can find everything you wish for. Washing machine, microwave, watercooker, TV, aircondition. Big rooms with traditional japanese furniture and beds. One room downstairs to sit, talk and relax, one room upstairs to drink, eat or play a game. The bedroom is on the upper floor. The owner was so nice and friendly. He served us very delicious tea in the morning. He also offered us to drive us with his private car to our next sightseeing point. At last he took a photo from us and waved goodby. If you want authentic japanese feeling and japanese hospitality at its best, I recommend everyone, who comes to Kyoto to book this house. We will sure come back and then for very much longer.

The exterior looked like an old private house, but the inside was clean and comfortable, and the room was very nice. I still want to use it.

The inn lived up to the reviews, and the rooms were spacious, making it feel like living in Kyoto!Unfortunately, a typhoon was approaching, so we changed our stay from 2 nights to 1 night, but thanks to the owner's thoughtfulness, we were saved!Since I had to go home early, I hurriedly borrowed a bicycle from the hotel and went around the area early in the morning. There are Japanese restaurants nearby, so I was able to enjoy my stay in Kyoto even for just one night. It might be easier to get to the hotel from Kyoto Station by bus, but since there was a washer/dryer, I bought detergent at a nearby supermarket and used it.There's no plumbing on the second floor, so it's a little difficult to move around, but considering the price, I highly recommend it!

This is the accommodation where I stayed with my Japanese wife! The owner was very friendly and it was spacious compared to other accommodations! You can also rent a bicycle, so you can quickly go to nearby tourist attractions by bicycle, so the location is great! I especially recommend it because there are local restaurants nearby! I definitely want to stay here next time I go.

While considering where to stay in Kyoto, I happened to come across this hotel while searching for a ryokan.Stay in an old folk house! This looked interesting so I decided! As soon as we made the decision, the owner contacted us to reserve a free parking spot. When I arrived on the day, I was greeted by the soft-spoken owner, Mr. Yamamoto.Renovate your parents' house and create an accommodation buildingIt feels like it was made. You can carry your luggage from your car to your accommodation.Once you enter the atmospheric living room,He immediately explained the inside of the building.A living space with a sofa,There is a toilet, bath, sink, washing machine, etc.The wash basin is equipped with a water purifier. The bedroom was on the second floor, and the futon was set up for me.There is also a living space next to the bedroom! This is a seat chair!A refrigerator is also located on the second floor. If you have bad legs or back, this is something you should consider.Once you have checked in, you will be given the entrance key number and Wi-Fi password. You can rent 2 bicycles. When checking out the next morning,You can enjoy delicious tea.I also received a coffee pack as a souvenir. When I paid the bill, I received my change back in a new bill. This is probably Mr. Yamamoto's consideration.I was surprised.I have found my favorite inn in Kyoto.thank you very much.
