Beautiful quiet place in the north of Ishigaki a mere 20 minute drive from the airport, just 10 mins from Kabira bay and about 30 minutes from the main port.Nicolas and Etsuko were excellent hosts, gave us great recommendations for the area including restaurants and places to snorkel. They rent out their own snorkeling gear and kayak for those wanting to try.Waking up every morning to the view of the ocean was wonderful. Thank you both!

It was a stay of 3 nights and 4 days.The owners (husband and wife) are very kind.Very warm and safeI was able to use it! !The area around the inn is full of nature.Hear the sounds of insects, birds, and the windI was able to experience "unreality".There's no TV in the roomNot necessary at all.You can really spend time in natureIt's a wonderful and wonderful accommodation.

Thank you for taking care of me on my family trip during spring break 😊We rented the first and second floors and used them for 10 people. The building is very clean and well maintained. The cleaning was impeccable, and flowers were placed at the entrance and restroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with herbs that can be used in cooking. . . I was impressed by the owner's hospitality 🥹There is no TV and no dryer. This is an inn where you can enjoy nature. There are ornaments made by the owner out of coral and shells all over the room, and if they have a price, they will sell them 😉My wife liked some of them so we bought one as a keepsake. It was 😆The bathtub was large, and I was able to get in there with my three children and play! Both water and hot water are powerful. I was also very happy with the shampoo and conditioner!I had a ZOOM meeting during my stay, and I was able to use Wi-Fi without any problems.We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, but the weather wasn't very good so we couldn't have a BBQ in the garden. I was also looking forward to stargazing, but that didn't come true either.However, when the sun was shining, we had breakfast outside and relaxed on the deck.To get to the beach, go down the hill and through the jungle😅It's a wonderful beach where you can enjoy nature, and there aren't many people, so you can relax.Please use us again! This time I was a guide for two days. I didn't stay at Ishigaki Island, a beach holiday, but I was staying at a villa nearby, and when I asked about it, I was told that they would be able to guide me. Vacances à la mer Ishigaki The building of Ishigaki Island, a beach holiday, is a wonderful building with an exterior that gives you the feeling of being in the French countryside.Nicola, the owner and guide, is from the Le Mandie region of France, speaks very good Japanese, and is a kind, caring and reliable person who puts safety first. I brought snorkeling equipment with me, but they thoroughly checked it and made me feel at ease. As for the life jacket, I borrowed one made by Nicola.The first day was spent snorkeling, playing at the beach, playing in the river, and at Crystal Beach. On the way, Nicola's wife came and listened to various stories, and even though it was hot, she accompanied me on the treasure hunt. The herbal tea she taught me and her wife's seashell art made with seashells are a must-see! On the second day, I had to go out of my way and asked for a half-imposed guide given the limited time. Thank you very much for your help!It was a two-hour round trip from the Yoshiwara coast to a small (uninhabited) island in Kabira Bay by sea kayak, but I had some great memories. Going on a sea kayak on the beautiful ocean has a different kind of fun than riding on a river! I was in a large kayak that could seat three people, but the waves were well cut, and although I paddled almost by myself, I was able to reach my destination without getting tired. Although there are many beaches in Ishigaki, there are some dangerous places, so if you have no knowledge or experience, we recommend that you have a guide accompany you to enjoy Ishigaki safely and enjoyably. If you are interested in the tour, we highly recommend it!I wasn't able to meet the kind and dependable Nicola, his intelligent wife, charming young lady, and son, but they are a wonderful family. For our first visit to Ishigaki, we had a golden hand in choosing this accommodation. The house has everything it needs, the hosts are top class and always there to help when needed. Even if the rather cloudy weather did not allow kayaking or snorkeling we enjoyed our stay very much! There was a lot to explore up to the botany in the garden of Etsuko and Nicolas. We will definitely come back!

After two spring/summer stays we are back at Vacances. It's winter but you can still do marine activities, it's also an opportunity to spend more time walking on the paths that run along the coast or to visit the Yaima village which gives an idea of ​​life and customs on the island.The apartment is very pleasant with its pretty flowered terrace and sea view. Our hosts and their children are discreet but attentive, always ready to provide information or please.For our next visit there will also be electric bikes to rent to venture to Kabira for example without a car.

This was our 4th visit and it just gets better every time. Etsuko and Nicolas are wonderful hosts who go way beyond the call of duty to make you feel at home. Their two children, Matthieu and Olivia are also delightful. We will definitely be back.
